Smart Manager plugin has been WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) compatible since v8.13.0. Request you to update the plugin to latest version [i.e. v8.15.0] and then do let us know your views.

Is it possible to set the purchase price for each product?

Sorry, it’s not possible using Stock Manager plugin. However, if you have a plugin for managing purchase price then it is possible to efficiently manage the same field by using our other best store management plugin – Smart Manager. It will manage any custom field for any custom post type like WooCommerce Products, Orders etc.

Request you to kindly have a check with the?Smart Manager demo?for your reference.

And do you have a report for the overall stock value?

Are you referring to displaying entire stock value from the store? If yes, then it is not possible using Stock Manager as it will only display product level stock.

I can’t find the necessary fields: name, rating, review text

As communicated in our previous comment, did you try adding a new product review and check with Smart Manager columns settings?

If you couldn’t find the product reviews related columns even after that then could you please let us know which plugin are you using for reviewing products? If possible could you please share the same plugin file copy in any file sharing site here.

how do I export product reviews?

Would like to update you that this forum is only for Smart Manager Lite (the free version of the plugin) related queries.

And as your query seems related to Export CSV functionality which is available only in the Pro version, request you to contact us from here and we will help you resolve the same issue.

P.S. Do not share the plugin copy in this comment.

No worries. Please check the below comparison for Stock Manager for WooCommerce and Smart Manager Lite plugin.

    Stock Manager for WooCommerce:

    • View and manage product stock with basic search functionality.
    • View log of all the stock related edits done via the plugin.
    • Import or Export products with only stock related fields.

    Smart Manager Lite:

    • Best store management plugin as it detects and lets you manage any custom field for any custom post type like WooCommerce Products, Orders, etc.
    • Functionalities like simple search, advanced search, etc. are available. Check here for Smart Manager Lite vs Smart Manager Pro features that we shared earlier.
    • Stock log functionality is not available but support for it would be added latest by this month end.

Upsell ids field is a PHP serialized and hence it is displayed in that format. You would need to write?product ids?in array format from the modal. Please check below steps.

    1. Click on Upsell ids field in inline and then select  Array as Type

2.? Click on?Append?and add product ids

Please do check this gif for your reference.

Are you using any plugin for reviewing products? If yes, then maybe you can try adding review for one of the products and then refresh and check Smart Manager.

Also, currently Smart Manager will detect custom fields only if they are stored in default WordPress tables and not from custom tables.

    @aglig ,

Glad to hear that you are liking our plugin!

    1/ Customized fields per product.
2/ Management of a barcode per product
4/ location of a product in stock.

For adding all the above functionality you would need third-party plugins for it. Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin will simply let you manage stock for all products from a single page, however, will not be able to provide the above functionalities directly out of the box.

Alternatively, you can also have a check with our best store management plugin – Smart Manager using which you would be able to manage any custom field for any custom post type like WooCommerce Products, Orders etc.

Request you to kindly check with the Smart Manager demo for your reference.

3/ Import csv files from 5 different suppliers (each slightly different) + automation.

Sorry, the above use case will also be not possible with our plugin. Using Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin you can simply import CSV containing a pre-defined list of fields related to Product stock

    @robinrsa,

in the Stock Manager plugin will the ability be coming in that we can sort the product alphabetically?

Yes, surely in the plugin roadmap, but currently no ETA for it. However, will keep you posted.
Also, did you get a chance to look into the Smart Manager plugin as we mentioned in earlier comments? Was that helpful?

Do you have a comparison of what can be done with Smart Manager vs Smart Manager?

Are you referring to Smart Manager Lite vs Pro? If yes, then click here for your reference.
If something else, then request you to clarify a bit more on your query.

    We do understand your concerns.

As the issue seems specific to your site, we’ll need to isolate what’s really causing this problem. Here’s something that will help:

    • Install a free theme like Twenty Twenty or Storefront but do not activate/switch your current theme
    • Install the free plugin Health Check & Troubleshooting on your site – this plugin is developed by the www.remarpro.com team and is pretty good at diagnosing problems in such situations.
    • Once the health check plugin is installed, keep only WooCommerce and Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugins active for the admin side and try to reproduce the issue you reported. Make sure to do this only for the admin side – that way visitors to your site won’t be affected.
    • Here’s a nice article that explains this process.
    • Reply to this same email and share your findings with us… Were you able to reproduce the issue? What were the exact steps?
    • If the issue does not occur, it means the problem is with some other plugin. You may try activating/deactivating a combination of plugins to figure out exactly what causes the problem

Alternatively, you can also have a check with our best store management plugin – Smart Manager plugin using which you would be able to manage any custom field for any custom post type like WooCommerce Products, Orders etc.

Request you to kindly have a check with the Smart Manager demo for your reference.

    @wpshushu @a3rev ,

We do understand your concerns. The release had experienced a slight delay due to issues identified during testing.

We’re pleased to inform you about the release of v8.13.0, now compatible with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS). We encourage you to upgrade to the latest version and share your feedback with us

P.S. For HPOS compatibility in the Smart Manager plugin, please ensure you have WooCommerce version 7.9.0 or higher.

It seems that the issue is specific to your site. So, to speed up the investigation process, it would be really helpful if you could let us investigate the issue on your site.

Here’s a secure way for you to give us administration access to your site:

    • Please go to your site’s WordPress Admin, install and activate the free WordPress plugin –?Temporary Login Without Password?(the plugin is developed by our own team, and used by top plugin developers like Yoast and others).
    • From that plugin, create a new temporary login link with administrator access, and one-month validity. We just need the temporary login link, you can use any of your own email addresses as the account email address.
    • Share the secure login link with us here.
    • Please also share steps to reproduce the issue in as much detail as you can.

Once this is done, we will access the site and diagnose the problem.

If for some reason you can not grant access to your live site, another option is for you to set up a staging site, replicate the problem there, and provide access to that.

Alternatively, you can also have a check with our best store management plugin – Smart Manager using which you would be able to manage any custom field for any custom post type like WooCommerce Products, Orders etc.

Request you to kindly have a check with the Smart Manager demo for your reference.

P.S. Do not share the temporary login link in this comment.

Could you please create a test product using WooCommerce > Products and try reproducing the same issue using Stock Manager for WooCommerce and let us know how it goes for you?

Also, please update the plugin to latest version [v3.0.0] if you haven’t already and then have a check. Let us know if it works after that.

If the issue still persists, then we’ll need to isolate what’s really causing this problem.
