Maybe a All in One SEO Plugin is the problem.
1. Deactivate the SEO plugin
2. Upload the images
3. Update the post.
4. Activate SEO.

Is it works for me.

It was a good experience for me that when I installed new plugin try almost every details.

I have the same problem.
