In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] unlockBase not workingHello Yasir,
Sorry to hear about the problems you’re having importing services from UnlockBase.
When accessing your UnlockBase API account from different IP Address locations, their server will lock on to the last IP Address used and prevent access from another IP Address location. Their servers do not allow multiple IP Address locations.
With that in mind, please log into your UnlockBase account:
1. Click on “XML API”
2. Under “Security“, remove the IP Address in the field and click “Save”
3. Be sure that you are using the correct API key by clicking on “Show my key”
4. Compare what you see here to what you are using with the StockUnlocks Provider entry you created for UnlockBase with your website.>>> Make sure that you have included the parenthesis along with the numbers: e.g. “(XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)”

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] BADFor what it’s worth, I just confirmed the message that any StockUnlocks Pro user receives when the connection fails due to a changing IP address. Here it is:
Cannot connect to license server. Invalid IP Address >>> xxx.xxx.xx.xxx. A single license cannot be shared. One license per website. This plugin only works with a static IP address. Please enter the correct values and try again. To use the basic license, simply clear all field values and Save Changes. The basic license information will automatically appear.
This message was implemented back on April 11, 2018. About a year ago. It stays on the dashboard screen and will not allow you to navigate within the StockUnlocks plugin until a valid license is entered.
Actually, I’m quite embarrassed that I forgot about this built-in notification until now.
It’s apparent that there should be no surprise that a static IP address is required, given that this message had to appear several times before the IP address was updated on three separate occasions.

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] BADHi cesarhv,
Very sorry things had to end this way. We do our best to inform everyone in advance that the plugin is designed to work with a static IP address as mentioned here:
StockUnlocks Plugin for WordPress Configuration
“A static (fixed) IP address is a must”
If you recall, we updated your IP address on the following dates:
Feb 8, 2019, at 6:15 AM
Apr 3, 2019, at 6:21 AM
Apr 4, 2019, at 6:19 AMThen, we kindly reminded you that you should request a static IP address from your web host provider as instructed on our website. Also, we would permit one final IP address change. Here is your reply:
On Apr 4, 2019, at 6:55 AM: … I¨ll be making a controversy in paypal if you dont allow me to change my IP I just make a bad choice in my host providers, I hope i dont have to change my IP but if you dont allow it Ill be making that with paypal
So, in order to avoid dealing with a case resolution with PayPal, we decided to just go ahead and refund your Pro license purchase. That would have happened eventually, correct?
We pride ourselves in the support that we provide. Sometimes we fall short. However, this time the simple resolution was for you to obtain a static IP address.

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] custom/variable productsHello,
What you are describing can be accomplished. However, it involves the following (detailed) steps:
1. Import the firmware specific unlocking service from your supplier. This allows the Product to maintain a proper API connection for automated processing, if necessary.
2. Temporarily set the newly imported product to a “Stand-alone Unlock Product”. Please see this post about where that setting is found: How to Create a Stand-alone Unlock Product.
NOTE: You’re not creating a Stand-alone Unlock Product. You’re simply temporarily changing an existing Product from an Assigned Provider to “Stand-alone Unlock” under the “API provider” selection.
3. Follow the instructions you’ve researched for adding custom variations to that product.
4. Once an order is placed, examine it for the specific firmware selected.
Based on what you know about the firmware selected, you will have to follow either the steps under A OR B below:
A. You will unlock it.
Continue to process the order as a Stand-alone Unlock as described in the post above (please read it carefully).
B. Your Supplier will unlock it.
1. On the Product, change the “API provider” back to the original Supplier.
2. Find the specific customer’s WooCommerce order and change its order status to “Processing“. This allows the StockUnlocks plugin to automatically submit the order to the Supplier for processing.
3. IMPORTANT: Once you receive notification that the order was successfully placed with your Supplier, change the Product back to “Stand-alone Unlock” under the “API provider” selection.
That should do it.
The only potential problem you might have is that a new customer may purchase this Product while it is set to automatically send processing to your Supplier. You may have to deal with that using the information found in this post:
How to Resubmit a Dhru Fusion Order [processing error]
The StockUnlocks plugin’s logic for automated processing is quite involved. Re-writing it to react based on custom fields (variations) is not really practical.
The introduction of the “Stand-alone Unlock” was done to cover exactly what you are requesting here.

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] Stand-alone mailingGlad to be of help. I’ll make a note to try to simplify the process, perhaps by enhancing the Dashboard to be able to quickly reply to stand-alone products.
I’ll add that to my list of “nice to haves” ??

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] Stand-alone mailingAutomatic mailing does not work for stand-alone products. Since it’s a manually created Product, it acts just like a standard WooCommerce product.
Automatic mailing makes use of the API which connects to your Suppliers server and automates the entire process from ordering to customer response.
The customer is automatically notified regarding their initial purchase, of course, regardless of the kind of product purchased.
For stand-alone products, further notifications to the customer are manually initiated, just like a standard WooCommerce product.
In the post How to Create a Stand-alone Unlock Product, it’s explained under the heading: “Updating the Stand-alone Unlock Product”
[…]
3. Afterwards, you can enter the unlock code and/or instructions in the “Add note” section to the customer.
4. Make sure to change the note type to “Note to Customer” so that an email with details will be sent to the customer.
5. Click “Add” to add the custom message to this order
6. Click “Update” to save your changes and to notify the customer.
As the order passes through its various stages, the note sent to the customer can be whatever you like.
In Step 3 above, just replace “unlock code and/or instructions” with whatever update you’d like to send to the customer and follow the remaining steps to send the email containing any type of notification.
Since this is a stand-alone product and has no API connection to an external server (your Provider), how will the system “know” that the order was submitted or is available if it now relies upon you to actually submit and check its availability?
Only you will know this. Therefore, your customer relies on you to now manually update them.

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] New orders not processingI will mark this as “resolved” based on your comments below:
I have disabled the plugin [Improved Product Options for WooCommerce] for now and it’s allowing me to place orders as expected as a test customer.
However, we have determined that there was an additional problem that involves your web hosting environment and folder permissions. In order for the StockUnlocks plugin to function, it needs to be able to create documents in its own subfolders. Certain hosting environments will not allow this. Therefore, the StockUnlocks plugin will not function properly in your current hosting environment.
A custom solution is being considered.

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] New orders not processingHello,
Sorry to hear about the issues you are having. The StockUnlocks plugin has not been tested along with the WC Vendors plugin.
Is there’s any way you can simply disable the plugin and test using only the StockUnlocks plugin and the “standard” WoocCommerce plugin? In other words, will your website function normally if you temporarily disable that particular plugin?
Have you tested your website with reseller.stockunlocks.com?
I highly recommend to test the plugin with an account created with reseller.stockunlocks.com. This eliminates any doubt regarding the configuration of the plugin with your existing website.
If we test with a known working configuration. Everything else can be narrowed down afterwards. This gives us a good point of reference.
If you haven’t already, please create your account here: https://reseller.stockunlocks.com/singup.html
The server was not showing any interaction with your website. The solution was found in this video link: https://youtu.be/DMuuFGC-KxY
- Create an account with reseller.stockunlocks.com/singup.html
- Create the related Provider document in your WordPress website
- Input your API key information in the Provider document
Hi,
I need to know if you are testing with an account created on:
https://reseller.stockunlocks.com/singup.html
This is the only way that we can begin to track down the problem.
If you’re having problems with another website, that could be related to a number of issues. Let’s deal with a known environment.

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] Data Import errorAfter accessing both your hosting environment and the administrator’s Dashboard for WordPress, we were able to observe:
- At least one of your API keys needed to be updated for one Provider
- The remaining Providers connected just fine and returned all of the expected results
However, the problem resurfaced after some time, indicating that:
There might be a problem with an installed plugin affecting the cache and how JavaScript is functioning on your website.
Suggestion:
- Try disabling all other plugins and try importing from a Provider again.
- If importing works, enable plugins one at a time and try importing until it breaks again, identifying the suspected plugin.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] Data Import errorOk, you need to confirm direct access to your Provider’s website by logging in with your credentials.

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] Data Import errorPossibly a problem on the DHRU Fusion side, remember it’s a 503 error. That indicates a problem on your Provider’s server.
If you’re connecting OK to StockUnlocks DHRU Fusion server for testing, then your environment is configured correctly.
Just to confirm, login to your Provider’s server directly and verify your API Key and IP address associated with that key found in your user profile.
How many Providers are giving you this problem?

In reply to: [StockUnlocks - Mobile and Cell Phone Unlocking] Data Import errorYour /wp-content/ directory could possibly be a different name if you’re using a security plugin that changes its name to something different.
For example, it still should have the -content appended at the end like : newname-content
Here is a sample path to the directory:
public_html/wp-content/debug.log
It’s also possible that your WordPress installation is in another sub-directory, maybe something like:
public_html/yourwebsitename/wp-content/debug.log
Try looking around for it.
In the meantime, one more thing to try via the StockUnlocks plugin:
Dashboard > StockUnlocks > Plugin Options: and then click any of the “Save Changes”.
Try the import again.
