I actually deleted it from my site all together and didn’t try to disable or deactivate which worked then I was able to re-install it. Have you tried deleting instead of disabling?

If that doesn’t work I would suggest contacting your friend who’s hosting the account and they should be able to help you.

do you have a hosted website? I had to access my plugin area through the hosting company in order to delete the plug in first. Once I had it deleted I was able to access my dashboard the regular way through my wordpress login screen and re-install. Hope this helps.

Just like we’re all freaking out, I’m sure Todd is too knowing that we’re all relying on him. I see that there’s already a 1.8.3 version. A+ for response in my book, especially since it’s available to all of us for FREE. I’m extremely impressed with the plug in so far and I’m not giving up that easy :).

Any feedback on version 1.8.3 yet?

I also had the same issue, in panic mode i completely deleted the plugin through my hosting site file manager just to get my site up and running. Then I came here to report it and saw the fix was already out :(. So now i want to re-download it, is it safe to assume since the “bad” update was version 1.8.1 and the new downloadable version is 1.8.2 that the newer version has the fix in it?
