Ok so I tried the get template part childtheme method

I created a file called category-parnters.php
in that file i created get template part loop , partners

Then i created loop-partners.php

Right now they duplicate loop.php and category.php

I get the title to show up but the loop-partners.php is not loading. Am I leaving out a step?

We had to revert back to 2.1.1 because of the many more issues that occurred with 2.5.1. Can you post the a code fix for 2.1.1?

My question is how to overrride it so that it does not use the one in the resources folder. If you modify the one there then it will get overwritten whenever you update to new versions.

It has everything to do with your permalinks structure in WP settings. If you are using default then when you setup a custom menu simply ADD the category “events” to your menu (not this custom URL).

If you are creating your OWN theme then I recommend making a folder called “events” and COPY the 4 files they recommend to that folder to customize integration.

Well after digging deep I found out that you must include the templates in your theme templates. Wow cant believe this vital step is not in the documentation.

Now the problem we have is we cant get next month to work. Get page 404 error.

Alright I followed all of the directions to a tee and I get the header of the calendar but no calendar view or List view. I get a 404 not found.

Could there be a problem with this plugin and wordpress installs in a subfolder?

I am using /grandprix/category/events

Then I unchecked pretty URLS since this is a custom theme. Now I get a very fragmented display and it doesnt display anything until you click either list or calendar button.

I wonder why this question is not answered anywhere and whenever someone asks about embedding image description the topic closes. Its not documented anywhere yet its in the backend.

The new JW player 5.4 supports HTML5 and has browser sniffers. But this plugin only supports the JW SWF player 5.1. So as this plugin stands now the short answer is no.

You need to use a popup effect to accomplish this. Thickbox, Shutter, Highslide or Lightbox

Look in Options/Gallery.
See the Integrate Slideshow checkbox? In the brackets swap them so the show as slideshow appears below.
