Forum: WordPress Mobile App
In reply to: Comments Show as Anonymous when I am signed into appit only occurs in the app. I tried two other sites I have. One worked directly (a WordPress.com) site. One asked me to sign in (another WordPress.com site). The Smokey Wire is the main one I use that doesn’t give me a chance to sign in and publishes it as anonymous. That one is www.remarpro.com.

In reply to: Comments Show as Anonymous when I am signed into appHi Arka, thanks for the help! I am not sure how to check (I’m on auto update) for the latest, and I don’t know how to access the cache in the WP app. When I go to the app in settings it doesn’t show anything like “clear cache” as a choice. More details would be helpful. Thanks again.

In reply to: Turning OFF “Automatically close comments on articles older than”All.. don’t troubleshoot with Bluehost on this! They shut down my site and said that it was malware that caused this. Personally I was happier dealing with the frustrating problem than having to pay for all this (since I don’t know how to do it myself).
My site is gone.. and here is what they said…
“We have uploaded a file titled ‘malware.txt’ within the user directory of your account which contains the full list of infected files found from the scan. We do have a basic article that talks about site security here: https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/help/511. If you would like further assistance with cleaning your account, we are partnered with Sitelock as a malware solution. They can be reached at (855) 378-6200, or you can contact our support lines at https://helpchat.bluehost.com for chat or by phone at (844) 303-1810 and we can connect you with a Sitelock agent.
In order to lift the suspension:
1. The malware has to be cleaned, I recommend utilizing a security company such as SiteLock, if you do decide to clean the malware yourself, be aware, some of the files are needed for the site to operate and if improperly cleaned will cause issues with the site in the future and we won’t be able to help with fixing the site after the suspension is lifted. We also highly recommend the following updates as well:
1. Perform updates to your sites content, and php scripts to ensure they are not outdated. Outdated scripts can and will leave a backdoor for hackers to gain access.
2. A Captcha is recommended on any, Comments, Login, and Contact form. This helps to mitigate your forms from being abused by any “bad” traffic.”Warning: don’t call Bluehost unless you want to lose your site!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] report can't be accessedAs far as I can tell, that’s what I did. The info on the report came to the correct email and I clicked on the email and it didn’t work.
I submitted a ticket as you suggested in your previous email above.
