THe way Is et it up on my blog (https://www.sub-division.com ) is I used the custom fields plugin and set it to display a field called “photo” on my template and in that field when composing a message I type the filename of the current photo. For instance todays photo would have “2005-03-12.jpg” in the photo field.

The best way I could get it to work without a million and one hacks.

It may be possible, I am looking into this just now for a few design clients and seeing how I can work WP into a CMS, its gonna be kinda hard to do but it should work.
I’ll let ya know how I get on

Have you edited your wp-comments.php file? Because if you have then it is possible you have moved the forms into the comment loop by mistake (I have done it a few times), if you have all you need to do is upload a new wp-comments.php from the zip file and you’ll be fine.

If so then I was intending on redesigning it a bit for my own needs so with Matt’s permission I will release (woudl jsut be a straight css swap)

oso – redownlaod from a different mirror i have had problems with mirrors beign incomplete… go for the irish one thats normally fine

goto your CSS and find the #header div and add in:
display: hidden;

sorry about the delay in reply – got a freelance job so im hard at “work”.
anyway:
right if i rememebr right from when i upgraded i uplaoded the wordpress stuff over the top of teh wordpress then ran the
h**p://www.mydomain.com/root/wp-admin/b2-2-wp.php file and entereed what was required – oh in the wp-config.php you need to enter the same database info as your current B2 blog.
I woudl recommend waiting another day or two for the new 1.0 version to save time and energy…
oh and make sure you take a back up of your database before you do anything to it!

most of us who know CSS tend to recreate the index.php file – mine is totally different and is very “messy”.
i am actually thiking of adding a wordpress template section to my site once I get some free time so you’d be able to grab a layout off of there.

doubtful, the new index.php files are much better and theres a host of other changes as well.
