There are currently only two animations for markers within the plugin which you can test when editing a marker by enabling one of the two animations.
Unfortunately, custom marker icons are not supported in the basic version so feel free to get in touch with us directly on our website for more information.

From the image attached, it seems that the Open Layers map tiles are not loading on and instead producing a 404 error.
A 404 error generally means it is unable to locate that element or image in this case.
Might I kindly ask you please get in touch with us directly via our website so that one of our developers may take a closer look?

By start location, could I kindly ask you to clarify? Do you mean to perhaps adjust the map view to a specific point?
If so you should simply need to drag the map to the required placement and Save the Map.
if you are referring to the Store Locator or any Pro features, kindly get in touch with us directly via our website.

The basic version of WP Go Maps does not allow for Titles or descriptions and instead only displays the address.
