I’m not editing (AFIK) any parent them files. The child theme is the active theme and all edcits are done via simple css. However, I note no additions are made to the chils style.css file, but all changes are reflected on my site.

I have found another way to do it, I added .entry-title {display: none;} to my custom css file.

I am a bit confused though. I am running a child theme, when I go into the editor, style.css has no content. However, for the parent theme, there is a complete style.css. I thought the idea of a child theme was to prevent problems with updates, or do updates have no effect on the parent style.css? Which style.css do I edit, parent or child?

I am using firefox/firebug addon to identify where changes need to be made.

I have installed simple css plugin to assist, although I have no issue with editing style.css directly.

I am using Twenty Sixteen. I can’t find the page.php file, where would it be? It doesn’t show up in the appearance/editor. I am using a Twenty Sixteen child theme.

This is not quite what I want. I want people to be able to comment, but register first, without having to send a request that needs approval.

I am new to blogging, is this a common requirement, how is this normally set up?

Thanks, I had almost figured that ouit, but for some reason I can only add one menu item. Site is now back to Twenty Sixteen.

Thanks, howver I feel it should be as promoted on the webite for Twenty Sixteen. Guess not.

How do I postion the menu in trhe primatray location? I am currently trialling another theme which I might go with.

If you don’t see the Twenty Sixteen theme, it is because I am trying other themes, but will switch it back to Twenty Sixteen when finished testing.

I am confused then. For example, the twenty sixteen theme, the fonts do not look good. Pages need to be created, they are not already there.

I realise that part is easy, but to change fonts and font size is not, unless you add something like WP Edit. Even then, it does not allow you to change page or blog title fonts.
