I was going to ask the same question.
I’ve used this plugin for some time with p3d.in but ever since the update to 1.0.0 it’s not worked.
I’ve finally tracked down what happened.
When you said it was another plugin it got me thinking. I restored an old copy of the P3D plugin directory. Now when I look at the plugins page I see two plugins called “3D Model Viewer”. I believe that when your plugin appeared WordPress thought it was an update to the previous plugin and replaced it.
Now I’ve just got to figure out a way of stopping WordPress telling me there is an update when there isn’t. If I can find a way to get Solidworks to ouput a file compatible with your plugin then I’ll use it.
