Is_single() works alone as does is_category(‘travel’) it’s when they are combined that is_single() doesn’t work in any form. it works alone if you past the post name through it but not if it’s written with is_category(‘travel’)

The new update of Logic and of wordpress was installed but after that i went back to previous version of logic after reading on this site

That seems to be fine. I have another wordpress site uploaded on to the same server at the same time which doesn’t have this problem so I don’t think its anything to do with permissions or enabling

I’m having what I believe is a similar problem.
I have an ad that I want to display in all posts within the entertainment category but cant seem to figure out how to do this
