In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Editing an xml fileMany thanks for your reply
The error shows as:-
This is not a valid URL. Please correct it and resubmit.
Line: 124
Line: 128However when I look at the particular sitemap, it has nothing like that number of lines, 20 or so at most
I have made some basic adjustments to the site itself and that may take care of things
Solved

In reply to: [GDPR] I am confused how to get all required info and configure this pluginYou are not alone, have no fear!!
What I did to locate the cookies and their sources was to sign up for a trial period with a premium GRPD plugin (also found on WP) As part of the trial period, they will run a scan on your site and after a short period they will alert you to the fact that the download is ready
The cookies are listed by category, name and source, together with a description of what it does.
So handy!!
Still struggling, but almost there (?)

First off many thanks.I think I am going to need more than luck! I am not sure I can afford more time to get on top of another plugin….
I just looked at the instructions on Tag Manager and felt a massive jaw drop
Maybe I will feel more optimistic in the morning?

In reply to: [GDPR] Not agreeing seems to have no effectThanks for getting back to me, but I would have thought that by refusing to accept the cookies, there would be a consequence that was more than having to suffer a banner.
He has refused to accept the cookies but can still navigate around the site being tracked.
