The support on this forum is absolutely dire. I managed to find out a solution no thanks to this useless forum.

Just thought I would post back and say I have managed to resolve my issue and also want to say thanks a bunch Steven for closing one of my posts which you clearly didn’t read.
As a moderator it’s the least you could have done which might have helped us lesser mortals to progress and learn.

I have since found out the Category ID is contained in a table called wp_terms so I would like to know if there is a piece of code I can use to order the Category titles on my page by their ID number contained in field name term_order

Thank you Hugh. As mentioned I did try that plug-in and it didn’t work also I found another one but that doesn’t seem to have any changes on the website.

We tried another theme on our test website and that seemed to work but having cleared the site for testing purposes and to ensure no conflicts, there are bugs.

We’ve given up and moved on so no need to reply.
