@lauramay7, Andrii has resolved the issue with an updated version of the theme. See the thread currently at the top of the forum, the post started by me.

I just updated to version 1.7.6 and it appears this behavior has returned.

The featured images are showing twice on each page. One at the header (full-width) and one in the page itself.
