Have tried the beta but as all the events-calender features disappeared from my site I have reverted to previous version of the plugin.

On further investigation of the problem I find that what I see varies depending on if I am logged in or not.
I would prefer the freedom of minimal css so that the plugins blends in with the rest of the site.
I do appreciate the additional of the class tags which makes detailed styling easier.
Plugins should add functionality not styling.
You could put your css in another css file then.
In your theme css file, style.css? Or in a separate css file and link that into either your theme css file or events.css.
You need the menu item to link to the category page where the calender displays. https://www.yourdomain/category/events/month/
Have you looked in the events.css file inside the resources folder in the “the-events-calender” plugins folder in wp-content.

Have solved it.
It seems you must fill almost all the address fields. City and postcode is not enough.
I had assumed that venue and postcode/zip code would be enough for google maps.
I have enabled embed maps but have neither a button or maps showing, except on the first event I created which has both a button and a map.
Where should I look?
Any clues as to what needs fixing gratefully recieved.
