In reply to: Is it possible to associate an image with individuIt looks like the weblog you mentioned simply inserts an image at the beginning of every post, nothing to do with the CMS. I’m pretty sure he just types it in as he’s writing. Some of his posts don’t even have it.
As far as the “Readability” feature, yah WordPress could do that. Really neat idea actually, but a plugin isn’t even required I don’t think. Some well placed javascript and a small html form could handle it.
As a side note, what CMS is he using anyway? I can’t find anything specifying it.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Photomatt !!!!Well he won’t be #1 for long if he keeps this up. ??

In reply to: Eliminating AnonymityIt might be very easy with a plugin using Hooks for Actions, although I’m not exactly sure how they work. :-\
And what exactly do you mean by “anonymous?” They must enter a name, email, or even register?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dynamic TitlesCall me Mr. Tangent, but another slightly related inquiry…
Have you guys checked out Inman Flash Replacement (updated here). The idea is to use absolutely no server-side processing, instead relying on some highly-developed javascript methods as well as a clever flash file.
The result is selectable text in any font/style you want… Definately an interesting alternative.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Comment’s number styleD’oh, I was wrong, I just tried it out. You can use
#commentlist
to mark up your numbers, but use#commentlist li *
. Not the best solution (the asterick could have some side-effects, but I doubt it), but it should work.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Comment’s number styleAre you talking about the type of numbering? Then check CSS Lists.
If you’re talking about the appearance, um… I might be wrong but I think if you modify your css in#commentlist
that will modify the numbers. However that would also modify the actual comment text, so use#commentlist li
to undo those changes. I think that’s how it works…Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Header Images – Again!Root, there are methods around that. Flash may not be a standard, but the object tag is. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. ??

In reply to: Autoinstall scriptThe script should be very easy to create actually. Just copy all the files and folders, alter the wp-config.php for that user, and then run install.php. Once multiple weblogs gets support you could simply use .htaccess (although then you will have some security problems, independant installs would be best).
