I would love to know this as well. We would really benefit from using this, but I don’t want to put it on our site until it’s been tested with current WP versions, etc.

A user finally got a screen grab. They’re posting about 10 minutes apart, trying to leave long posts, but get this on submission instead. And they lose everything they just spent time writing.

1. No, there are no custom hooks nor is there custom code that attempts to fix this.
2. I’m positive I’m on the latest version.
3. I have purged all caches, no CDN.

Sigh I hear ya. I actually moved away from bbpress to wpforo because some of the features WPForo offers were very highly requested by our membership. This is the biggest issue, this posting too quickly thing. And yeah, the times have been wrong from the start and that blows my mind a bit. So frustrated.

seriously. ?? That is horrible UX. How about getting the time to be CORRECT. It really shouldn’t be that hard.

Going back to the original problem, our members are complaining that they’re getting the message “you are posting too quickly. slow down.” They aren’t actually posting fast enough to get that message, according to your parameters stated about. Thoughts?

OH MY GOD. It took me 8 hours today to track this down. My site was taking THIRTY SECONDS to load. THIRTY. Once I used the fix above on GitHub (God bless you for that!), my page load speed is down to 7 seconds.

Hi! I have this same problem, but with the free version?

I’ve tried that. And even when I can get this pop up to work:

I still can’t drop files to upload or select them manually even when I only have 2015 theme on and ALL other plugins disabled. That goes across browsers too.

Even when I deactivate my theme, the upload popup WILL appear, but I still can’t upload. Dragging an image to the drag and drop area only opens my images in my browser and the button on that pop up to manually select doesn’t work either. ?? Sad face.
