  • I have the same issue. And am also running Divi and WP Rocket. I just deactivated WP Rocket and the bar now disappears as it should do after Accept All. Is there no other way to resolve this as I have WP Rocket running on about 10 websites?

    Thanks for your help.

    I posted something similar (or sounds like it) with regard to a shared host on GoDaddy. I think Heart is now owned by GoDaddy so this could be the reason why I had two site breaks caused by Wordfence last weekend on GoDaddy. I posted it here on this forum. I am going to investigate but thanks singingcyclist.

    Hi Automattic WordPress Hero, I am using the Eventbrite Plugin but it is running on the Traject themes template which will soon go south when I finish the new template ??

    I don’t think its the theme template because it was working fine before and we sold about 54 tickets off the plugin on the site. Not many but at least it works. I am going to test the ticketing because I think if I can move the old event out, or even swap out the URL, maybe the ticketing will start to work again for the next two events.

    I will let you know …… next week. I am building a number of WP sites in the UK and using the same Eventbrite plugin so I need to resolve this.

    After testing my theme on another hosting service the problem no longer existed. I reported the issue several times to the hosting service. I recognized that they had two versions of my wp-content files so were investigating the issue but not discovering what was causing this.

    It was not a file permissions issue but more than likely some security plug that was interfering with the theme. Their support people could not discover the cause. This hosting service had scores of DDOS attacks and several of my client sites were down for days.

    With all these extra wp-config files all over the place I had one difficult time moving the sites to another host.

    My No.! rule is to ensure that all my clients can work confidently and independently, and that I only have to intervene if they are looking to expand their site, etc. This was an infuriating experience.

    I am very happy with the new hosting service and now get great support where needed which is rare. There was nothing wrong with the theme.

    Thank you Kylee and Buzztone for your information. I’ve been using Contact Form 7 for years and it’s the best of the best forms in my opinion so it’s a bit upsetting to find all these issues popping up considering the 3 WP websites move were manual and no settings were changed.

    I would advise anyone to read Buzztone’s link Best Practices to Set Up Mail. There’s a boatload of information in there. Awesome. Thank You both.

    Thank you Ross for the advice. Pressable suggested they would re-install WP (except as you say the wp-content, extra folders and the config file). If they don’t get to it over the weekend I’m going to run a clone site and do it myself. At least it’s another point to knock off the list.

    Of course that was the issue. I dreamt this was the fix last night. Thank you.

    Which means we now have an old problem back. We have to ensure that our users have an opportunity to engage on our websites including those with visibility issues. In our case the theme is very responsive but when using Really Simple Captcha the image box is too small for the majority of people to read on mobiles.

    The Salient theme does not allow for any other captcha. I would love to know what you recommend. I have tried a number of fixes and some recommended by users here on this forum but to no avail.

    My original post is at ‘Contact Form 7 responsive but Really Simple Captcha not’

    Please could you help with this. CF7 is the absolute best of the forms and I use it on all the client sites.

    I’ve had some friends with visual limitations test this and increasing the image size slightly has greatly helped. The slight size increase has also made the captcha readable on mobiles so great result. Thanks to Buzztone for your ‘fishing rod.’

    Thanks Buzztone, unfortunately your CSS didn’t work as a standalone. I am working a tricky but very versatile framework. What did work though (and you got me on track) was to use the theme’s CSS with the cf7 element:

    .row .col .wpcf7 img {
    height:110%;
    width: 110%;
    }

    Thanks. Great to hear from you. Awesome response.

    I’ve posted this response also to Contact Form 7 responsive but Really Simple Captcha not

    I eventually managed to fix this by increasing the size of the image in my theme’s style.css by 110% for both height and width for the captcha image. It is looking good now for all platforms. Anything greater than 110% is risky. However this meant changing the CSS site-wide, as in ‘.row .col img’ h & w 110%.

    Hopefully there is a more reliable way to fix this in CSS.

    Thank you Mr Miyoshi. Contact Form 7 and Really Simple Captcha are the best.

    Hello Rich4,

    I would give access to the XYZ SCripts Team and they should be able to help you. As I said before, I switched plugins and my contact form works fine but what works for me may not work for you.

    I have a test site where I test all my plugins and themes first. It is particularly helpful when upgrades start. Rather than bring down the main website, I don’t mind if the test site crashes. And I don’t stress out if a plugin is not working.

    Hope this information helps.

    I switched plugins to another contact form and everything works great and I get excellent support. It was just easier to do it this way because this particular plugin was not going to work with other plugins I use.

    Just FYI I have a site solely dedicated to checking for conflicts with plugins I use. This has helped me a lot.

    Hope you resolve your issue.

    I got an even worse fatal error when I activated this plugin. It told me that that was a fatal error in the deprecated.php file on line 669.

    I could not get onto my admin panel or the site to deactivate the plugin.

    I had to go in the back door via FTP and remove the plugin from the site.

    After that everything worked fine. Thank goodness. However, I am not doing too well.

    I would really like to know what caused this fatal error as it seems one of the most popular and useful WordPress plugins.

    Thank You.

    I got a fix thru JeffW at the Parallelus Help Center because the conflict was with the CSS code in the Traject theme:

    Contact Form 7 still uses the HTML width attribute. But as the CSS attribute for .textInput class overrides the HTML, you have to change the text area and .textInput width in the theme’s style-default.css FROM 175px TO auto.

    textarea, .textInput { width: auto;

    Voila! Magic!
