Learning curve and a little impatience ?? I have found what was causing part of my issue in Ultimate Member/User Roles.
Can access wp-admin?
Force hiding adminbar in frontend?
now it seems to work however I still have issues with viewing the admin-bar to edit a post, it should allow this on the page ? when I select the ‘EDIT’ on the blog entry istelf or the WordPress top bar/toolbar it jumps to the home page?
