Apparently, Oxygen doesn’t use that function. The Themes directory is empty anyway, so there is no active theme.

However, I found a plugin called “Oxygen Theme Enabler” that enables the active theme for a specific page only. The plugin appears to work as advertised. I found it at: https://github.com/srikat/oxygenthemeenabler

If you’re viewing photos, add these tags to the shortcode: count=”100″ more=”Show More”. The ‘count’ tag should equal the number of thumbnails and the ‘more’ tag is the text you see and click on to go to the next page of thumbnails.

Te problem seems to be gone!

I updated to the just released 4.7 version and then disconnected and re-connected.

I’ve tried all the suggestions for troubleshooting, including disabling all plugins and switching themes. The problem persists. Other sites that are hosted on the same server (using JustHost) do not exhibit this problem.

Thanks for the reply. After more investigation I determined that this plugin was not the culprit. I had created some custom product page templates that had some issues with the newer PHP. All is well.
