I’ve run a series of tests on both my live test site and a sandbox using the Shortcode Builder, and so far I haven’t been successful in replicating the error you are seeing. Each time I install and activate the Classic Editor, the Shortcode Builder is available and accessible to me.

I mention this because when I’m not able to replicate an issue, it leaves me relatively stuck.

If you could send along step by step instructions for how to replicate what you are seeing, I’d be happy to take one more run at this to see if I can get the issue replicable.

First, send along your system information. You can do this by navigating to Donations > Tools > System Info (tab) and click the button to “Get System Report” and copy/paste that in your reply here.

I also need the complete file name to have a clearer picture of where this issue is coming from.

I’m not seeing a stand-out reason for the credit card fields issue, but I do have a recommendation for you. You may not have credit cards activated on your PayPal account. You mentioned that you have reached out to PayPal support, and that is a great idea in this case. While you are working with them, have them check to make sure that payments using credit cards has been enabled on your PayPal Commerce account.

Next, send along the URL to your site and donation form. That will let me check for errors and get a closer look at what you are seeing.

I also need to clarify where you are seeing this. Is the issue with that payment amount changing only happening in the payment fields of your donation form, or are you seeing this in other areas as well?
