Hi @cih997,
It’s been a bit since I’ve heard back, so I’m marking this as resolved for now. I’m happy to give this a look and create a report for a fix, so feel free to send along those informational pieces for context here once you are ready. I can hop in from there! Have a great day.Hi @nigelwaswa,
It’s been a bit since I’ve heard back, and I know troubleshooting can take a little extra time. I’m marking this as resolved for now, but if you still have questions you can send them along right here and I’ll be happy to hop back in. Have a great day!Forum: Plugins

It’s been a bit and I know you are working on troubleshooting things on the Stripe side. I’m marking this as resolved for now, but if you still have questions you can send them along right here and I’ll hop right back in. Have a great day!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Donation page not loadingHi @map70,
It’s been a bit since I’ve heard back, and I know troubleshooting can take a little extra time. I’ll mark this as resolved for now, but if you have questions you can send them along here and I’ll be happy to give things a look. Have a great day!Hi @nigelwaswa,
Glad you reached out. I’ll need a little more information to get started here:
First, send along your system information. You can do this by navigating to Donations > Tools > System Info (tab) and clicking the button to “Get System Report” and copy/paste that into your reply here.
You mentioned you are attempting to connect your PayPal account, are you using PayPal Donations and the blue connect button to do that?
I’d like to see this a little more clearly, if you could send along a screenshot or two of what you are seeing (you can use a tool like imgur.com to send me screenshots here) that might help give me some context.
Let me know if you have questions in the meantime, I’m happy to help.Hi @cih997,
Glad you reached out. I’ll need to replicate what you are seeing on a test site, so I’ll need a little information to get started.
First, send along your system information. You can do this by navigating to Donations > Tools > System Info (tab) and clicking the button to “Get System Report” and copy/paste that into your reply here.
Next, send me some very detailed steps to follow so I can replicate what you are seeing. I’ll need for this to be step-by-step and as clear and detailed as you can make it. I’ll need to follow your process to replicate that error code. Once I have that replicable, I can create a report for our teams to begin tracking for a fix.
Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Missing transactionsHi @polina81,
That’s a great question, and the short answer to that is no.
The moment a donor clicks the “Donate Now” button, 2 things happen. GiveWP creates a donation record at Donations > Donations, and a transaction is created in the payment gateway. Even if a donation is incomplete because of an error or missing information, a donation record would still be present in GiveWP (and usually include a status such as “failed” or “pending”). There has never been a situation in which a donation wasn’t recorded in GiveWP, but was recorded in a payment gateway.
The only exception to this would be subscription renewal payments. Those payments begin in Stripe, and Stripe communicates confirmation of that renewal to GiveWP using the webhook, which then creates a record of that renewal in GiveWP.Let us know how things go once you’ve checked in with your donors and with Stripe. We are happy to help with any questions you have along the way.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Donor Wall IssuesHi @owjef,
Glad you reached out. We don’t have any shortcodes for those options available, you would need to use CSS to make those types of changes. You can read more about GiveWP’s recommendations for CSS here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/handling-custom-css-in-wordpress/
That should give you some rails to run on! I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved, but if you have any questions you can send them along here and I’ll be happy to help.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Donation page not loadingHi @map70,
Glad you reached out. When I view your form, I’m able to see it and walk through almost the entire donation process: https://imgur.com/tdvHMRg
I attempted a donation on your form (but did not complete it), a loading wheel displayed and then I was redirected to complete my donation with PayPal: https://imgur.com/35CdJR1
I wasn’t able to replicate an issue with the form just disappearing. If you are still experiencing an issue here, send along more details about what you are seeing, and your system information. You can send this by navigating to Donations > Tools > System Info (tab) and clicking the button to “Get System Report” and copy/paste that into your reply here.
I’m relatively stuck without a way to see the issue, but I’m happy to keep digging if you have more information for me!Hi @sidhharth1202,
Glad you reached out. Yes, GiveWP supports CC Avenue! I’m not able to provide support for that here, CC Avenue is a paid add-on that is eligible for Priority Support. In case you find it helpful, you can read the documentation for that here: https://givewp.com/documentation/add-ons/ccavenue-gateway/
If you are interested in that add-on, I would recommend reaching out to the Customer Success team at givewp.com/contact-us/ for more information, or to set up a demo.
I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved, and we’ll follow up with you over at the email address I provided above. Have a great day!Hi @moses0811,
It’s been a bit since I’ve heard back, so I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved for now. If you have any other questions you can send them along here and I’ll be happy to give things a look. Have a great day!Hi @moses0811,
Glad you reached out, this is a great question.
We have options for Form Grids that can get you exactly what you are looking for. You can choose from two options, Form Grid Shortcode, or the Form Grid Block. Both have the same functionality, it all depends on how you prefer to build your pages (I’m a big fan of the block, personally).I’ve linked the documentation to those two options above, you’ll want to give that a look. They are very thorough tutorials about how to use each type of element, and they include details about attributes and settings you can use to customize your form grid.
Give this a look and let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help!Hi @ep0ch,
It looks like we have you all set here, so I’ll mark this as resolved for now. If you still have questions, you can send them along here or create a new ticket and I’ll be happy to hop right back in! Have a great day!Hi @ep0ch,
Great question! At the moment those integrations aren’t supported, but we do have a feature request for Zelle here: https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/givewp-should-integrate-with-zelle-pay. I’m linking your ticket to that request so we can follow up with you once we have a resolution.
Depending on your level of comfort with coding (or your willingness to hire a developer), we have a developer level tutorial for creating a custom payment gateway add-on that might give you some rails to run on: https://givewp.com/documentation/developers/how-to-build-a-gateway-add-on-for-givewp/
I do see Stripe supports an integration for CashApp: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/cash-app-pay
And that’s something you’ll want to watch for! Our teams are knee-deep in working on GiveWP 3.0, which is a very big release planned for early summer. You can read the latest and sign up for updates here: https://givewp.com/lps/next-generation-donation-forms/.
In 3.0, all Stripe integrations will be available to all users through the Stripe dashboard – which may be of particular interest to your client. If you are interested, we are testing the beta plugin right now, and you’ll find the zip file for that at the link I sent along. If you opt to test with the zip file, make sure you use it on a test or staging site only, it is not intended for live sites just yet. It’ll give you a good look at some of the new features we are planning.
Let me know if you have other questions here, I’m happy to help.Hi @ep0ch,
Glad you reached out. You can find the settings for that required login by navigating to Donations > All Forms and clicking “edit” under your donation form. On the left-hand side you’ll see a tab for Form Fields. Click that, and you’ll find the option for requiring registration and login: https://imgur.com/UyRmAk2
Give this a look and let me know if you have any trouble. I’m happy to help with any questions about this.
