We are on 5.0.3 multisite too. I just found the options:

In Network Admin > Settings > Network Settings
at the bottom of the screen:

Classic Editor Allow site admins to change settings (checkbox)

This then gives the Settings> Writing option on a per-site basis. It defaults to the classic editor and allows site admins to set their preferred default and whether users are allowed to change their own preferences.

I’d personally like it if the default could be set at the network level as well, as we’d prefer to move everyone to Gutenberg by default, but give them the option of reverting if they choose – as it stands they won’t even know that Gutenberg is there.

One thing I can see that is definitely wrong with your code is that the type for events isn’t new_event. It’s either event or events. Can’t remember offhand and on phone so can’t check.

ah ok, no worries. thought there might be a function or a hook I could use.
Never mind, it’s not that urgent, so may look into coding something in due course.

Sorry I probably didn’t explain myself too well.
In the email settings there is a place to put a custom list of emails to receive notifications of confirmed bookings. I’d like these emails to be sent even if the booking hasn’t been confirmed, ie while it’s still pending confirmation.
There is the other option below this field in the settings which will email the event owner with pending bookings, but basically I’d like to get a mix of both of these options.
Does that make sense?

I spotted another 500 error when running Events Manager and Query Monitor.
In the backend, when adding an event, the EM will do an Ajax lookup on existing locations when entering location information. This fails when Query monitor is activated as well.
(This is with WP 3.8.1, EM 5.5.2 and QM 2.6.3)

I’m also getting this issue. 2 level navs (in top menu) don’t work.

I have recently updated WP to 3.5, but am not sure if that is the issue, as I don’t think it worked before either.

The second-level UL has class “sub-menu”, but that’s all the markup that appears to be different from a single-level menu.

Not a massive problem as I don’t need drop-downs for this site, but I’ll probably be using this theme a lot in future, so would like to have the option ??

Meanwhile, I hope the work for the next version is coming along well… The bootswatch options in the latest build are excellent – will be great once they’re completed.

I’m really interested in using the Bootswatch themes as well.

I just tried overriding your bootstrap.css with one of them, which broke things a bit. Applying bootstrap-responsive.css helped, but there are still some things, such as comments forms that are a bit different, as I guess you customised your bootstrap files to work better with wordpress?

I’d like the layout to look exactly like the existing the-bootstrap, so I guess it’s probably best to wait for you to add your Bootswatch support rather than spending loads of time trying to get it working myself, only to find that your update does it better anyway! ??

Any idea when you’ll be releasing the new version? Or am I really being stupid and missing the option somewhere?
