In reply to: 3.5 stripping links from textyes, except for: “when I check in the text mode everything is correct”.
When I check in the text mode, the link has been placed above the text but not linking to the text. So, when I save it and check again, the link disappears and has been replaced with ” “.
If I go into text mode and place the link inside the header tags, it’s ok. But, it’s not easy for me to do the entire post in text mode so I have to go back and forth, which is time consuming.

In reply to: WordPress 3.5 has broken my ADD MEDIA button!also, I notice that it has broken my theme… the calendar is now floating randomly in space… but only on post view. Here’s an example:

In reply to: WordPress 3.5 has broken my ADD MEDIA button!I’m having trouble with the add media system too… but mostly with linking. When I add an image that has a custom link, and then add text below it with a link, WP strips the link from the text below and adds an extra space instead. It is not user-friendly at all to have to switch from wysiwyg to html back and forth for each post.
whooami cleaned my site and removed the hacked code!! THANK YOU!! Highly recommend!!
bummer. Not being a coder, how do I find this content to clean it out? My spyware scan last night obviously didn’t find it.
mrmist: to upgrade, we obviously need to back up… will that bring the infection with us?
I just checked it in Firefox and I’m getting the pop-up.
Anyone know what this is?I’m having the exact thing, too. I just ran a virus scan last night (through Kaspersky) and now this morning I’m getting this pop-up from Magic.
I have no idea who Magic is, I contacted my host server and it’s not them.
It FEELS phishy, so I didn’t enter any passwords. I didn’t check it in Firefox, but the error message did come up in Google Chrome and IE.
I’m also running 2.7 and have hesitated updgrading until they slow down with the updates.
