In reply to: [Security Optimizer - The All-In-One Protection Plugin] Solve a math problemHello @sdesigns
The issue is probably triggered by another security plugin since the Security Optimizer should not be presenting you with such a challenge. I would advise you to examine the application plugins, as they are likely responsible for the behavior you’re encountering. If your site is hosted with SiteGround, feel free to submit a Helpdesk request through your SiteGround Client Area Dashboard. Our team will look into the matter and provide you with the necessary assistance and information.

The plugin has a default-enabled feature called “Disable Common Usernames,” which prevents the use of generic usernames like ‘admin’ and that may be causing the issue. If you wish to deactivate this feature, you can do so in the “Login Security” section of the plugin. If you encounter any problems after turning off this option, please submit a Helpdesk request through your SiteGround Client Area Dashboard. Our team will then investigate and provide the necessary assistance.

Stefan StefanovHello @simongcc ,
The plugin optimizes all JPEG and PNG images uploaded through the WordPress Media uploader. It does not optimize images that are manually uploaded or embedded within theme/plugin files. Additionally, the plugin does not handle the conversion of PNG images larger than 1 MB.
The plugin also generates WebP versions of images located in the Media Library. Images that do not have WebP copies are typically those hardcoded by themes or plugins. There is no feature to convert specific images to WebP directly; however, you can sync these images to the Media Library and then use the bulk generation feature to create WebP files.
If these steps do not resolve your issue, it is advisable to submit a support ticket through your SiteGround Client Area. Our support team can then examine the issue more closely and provide detailed assistance.

Hello @patrick1245,
The error may occur due to the rules in the .htaccess file or incompatibility with another of the installed plugins of the application.
The recommended course of action would be to restore the application from a restore point when it was working as intended.
If you are a SiteGround customer, you can post a ticket through your Client Area so we can check what may be causing the reported behavior.
