In reply to: [Easy Forms for Mailchimp] Paragraphs for each hidden fieldHi,
I tried something else using css, it works as well: I reduced the line-height and margin of <p> tags inside the form (using its class or id), and then swoosh! I guess that’s a kind of workaround.

In reply to: [WP Ultimate Recipe] Remove the inline cssOh my ! So sorry, I didn’t check which tab I was on whien I posted this. Still, thanks a lot for your answer.
Yes, I agree, it works perfectly. But I guess I’ll be changing host next year, even if it’s more expensive

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] event subscriptionHi,
I was looking for the same thing, and found event ticket, another plugin fully compatible with the events calendar. Needs a bit of translation for me, but other than that, it works ok
Edit : didn’t see this post was marked as resolved, never mind.
Hello,
Exact same thing here. Out of 4 sites, I have 1 working ok. I’m wondering perhaps it needs just a little time to be implemented (I switched to cloudflare for the last 3 sites yesterday). I’ll keep you posted if I see a change in a day or two
Hi,
I finally got to the end of it. I realized my clients uploaded non-optimized images on one page (i’m talking about 40 photos, 5-6 Mb each).
WordFence is not the one in cause here. Seemed important to say that here ??
Thanks a lot for the support.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] HTTPS/SSL link all broken with false positiveHi,
Same problem here, since I switched to “https”, I got tons of false positive broken links. I use a shared host but still, shouldn’t be marked as broken

In reply to: [Responsive] Post Title is now clickableOk, I found my own answer :
For those who would like to save the pages’ popularity, and remove the link towards themselves in the h1 title, copy the “post-meta-page.php” file in your child theme, and then change
<h1 class="entry-title post-title"><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h1>
into
<h1 class="entry-title post-title"><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Date Picker doesn't work properly in Safari, IE or MozillaHi,
I have exactly the same issue on several of my websites. I use a text field instead for the date, with a placeholder looking like this jj/mm/aaaa (French standard).
However, I would love to get a fix or an update to get the date-picker to work on multiple browsers.
Thank you for your advice
Hi Matt,
So I did delete the pattern, but no changes occurred. You will find below a list of the plug-ins I use
– Akismet
– Broken Link Checker
– Contact Form 7
– Cookie Notice
– Display Widgets
– iThemes Security
– Meta Slider
– SX No author Pagination and SX No Homepage Pagination
– Toolset Types and Toolset Views
– Wordfence Security
– WP Sitemap Page
– WP Smush
– Yoast SEOI also noticed something else : I use Wordfence on all the websites I create, but I really get this impression of “slow motion” when the website also uses the Toolset plug-ins (Types and Views). Is there any way to confirm that or is there a setting that I overlooked, like adding something from those plug-ins in a Wordfence whitelist ?
Thanks again for your help !
Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I did check the following points :
– disabling the plug-in : yes, speed improves greatly (user expenrience on site, not measured with any tool)
– disabling firewall only : no change noticed
– going back to PHP 5.6 : no change noticed
– yes, I block the pattern “*.hidehost.net” regarding hostnames, but I didn’t delete it to test for it.Would you have any other pointers I could try, or do you need the list of plug-ins I use ?
Thanks !
@ldp-154 : same problem here, as soon as I tried to edit the permissions in Nextgen Gallery, I had to reset (once again ! ) the whole thing.
@cais : yes, it seems like it really, both S2Members and Members seem to suffer from the user role “hijacking”. Really looking forward to getting the next update.
Wow, that was fast ! Well, hello Justin, and thank you very much for your piece of code, it proved really useful : hope it helps LDP-154 as well.
The debug console showed that the same error occurred when using the reset plugin. I had to modify the “nextgen-gallery-reset.php” file line 105 the exact same way, but it works : Nextgen Gallery is back inside the admin menu, the settings are to be set again since the reset, but what a relief !
Thank you very much indeed !
