No, most of my websites are hosted at O2Switch (French hosting company, suppose to be reliable). The support staff tell me that nothing changed on their servers, so I was just wondering.
When only one website is hosted, no problem I can add the auto_prepend_file as a server setting. However, one of my clients has 2 WordPress sites installed on the same server: as the htaccess file would work before, no problem, but now I have to chose between one or the other to add to the auto_prepend_file (unless I missed something and I can actually add two files to it).

In reply to: [Schema] Disable Duplicate Features that Yoast SEO OffersHello,
Thanks for the reply, and yes, that explains it. It actually made a lot of sense, and confirmed that I won’t be using this feature ??
@alan555 My host support came up with a solution this afternoon: if you can set up your server PHP version and activate some PHP extensions, instead of using pdo and mysql, they had me use nd_pdo and nd_mysql.
I don’t know what it means (yet) but it works, the backup is effective again.
I searched several posts on the Internet. It seems that one of the recurring reasons is the MariaDB version. This website uses MariaDB 10.2.12. It is highly unlikely that the host would be ok to downgrade, so I guess I’d better wait for an update?
Hi,
No, for this particular website, the database is about 3,5 Mb, so a rather samll one. I set the server memory up to 1G but it is never used up. What troubles me is that one day backups were working fine and the next day I got about 30 emails daily (error notificatons), each for every one of the websites I run.
