    Worked it out now

Hi Matheus, the original problem went away when I switched the payment gateway from Paypal Standard to Paypal Donations.

This page https://staging.billericaylions.com/donate/ seems to work ok now if I use a multi page form.

But this page https://staging.billericaylions.com/test/ doesn’t if I use the Classic form. When I click on Donate, nothing happens!

I think the buttons on the multi page form distinguishing between Paypal and Credit card are a little confusing.

I found a trace file in this location: D:\Documents\IISExpress\TraceLogFiles\WordPress1\fr003516.xml

When I open the file I see this screen.

I have had a dig around but can’t see anything which points me towards a problem!

I am inclined to think that the cause is the code in my index.php file because if I edit the file and paste in the code from 2010 index.php I don’t get an error!

Can you login to D:\Documents\My Web Sites\WordPress1\wp-admin? Is the TwentyTen theme working?

Not sure exactly what you mean.

I can view published site using Twenty Ten theme OK at https://localhost:18542/

I can also open the dashboard fine at https://localhost:18542/wp-admin/index.php

I can also copy the TwentyTen Theme to D:\Documents\My Web Sites\WordPress1\wp-content\themes\twentyten – Copy and that works OK.

But could also easily be caused by a faulty theme/template file. Try looking in your server’s error log for clues.

Where would I find the server error log?

I have reposted this with the code using pastebin as I could not work out how to delete or edit my original post
