    Hello,

Yes, the search widget works, but the only option that works is the “no button” one, this is why you have to press enter to make a search. We would like to have the “button only” option, where there is only the search magnifier icon that opens the search field when you click it. I have made a video where I’ve selected each option in the widget to better understand the situation. Link below:

    Thank you,

    Stefan.

Hello. I have updated everything, WP, theme and all plugins. I have tried doing every step from the conflict page, but the result is still the same. I did everything from below:

    1. Update?all your plugins and themes. In some cases conflicts can be resolved by using the latest versions of your site software. New releases of software not only include new features, but security and bug fixes too.
    2. Switch?to a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Nineteen to see if the issue persists.
      • If no, your theme is causing the issue. You can: a) change your theme; b) contact the author of the theme and ask them to fix it.
      • If yes, go to the next step.
    3. Temporarily deactivate?all plugins except WooCommerce and the WooCommerce extensions you’re experiencing issues with.
    4. Test if the conflict still exists. – the problem still persists.

I’m back with an update. Tried again with a different theme, disabled all the plugins except WooCommerce and the problem still persists. ??

    Hello Zubair,

Sorry for my late reply. Here is a screenshot attached below:

From what I’ve seen, the main problem is that the search bar doesn’t dissapear. For example the no button option works, only the search bar remains, but if I try the button inside or button only, nothing changes, the widget looks like in the photo attached.

Also I can’t change the background and text colors for the widget. I believe something overwrites those settings, but I can’t figure out why. This is persistent even with a default theme. I will try disabling the plugins, maybe there’s a conflict with one of them.

I understand, thank you for letting me know. I have disabled the password protection and now you can access staging without any restriction. I don’t think there will be a problem to leave it without password for a few days.

Yes, I have tried the Storefront theme and unfortunately the issue persists (screenshot below).

Let me know if I can help you with more details.

    Thank you,

    Stefan.

Hi Carol. I wasn’t able to solve this issue. I apologize, you can’t see it on our live website because right now we have a simple search bar widget, not the product search bar. This is a workaround until we get it fixed.

We would like to have the product search bar though because the current one searches through everything, not just the products.

You can see the issue on our staging website tool, at the link below:

    https://staging.accacia.ro

The same problem, even though the “button only” option is activated, the search field appears too, on top of the search icon and messes the whole header.

The staging website is password protected, so it doesn’t get indexed by search engines. The access password is beepbeep

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

It worked. I looked at the WooCommerce 7.2.2. changelog and the issue was exactly on the postmeta table. Thank you very much for your help. Have a great day.

Hello @xue28, thank you for getting back to me. So, after a day of going through the tables and trying to debug this, I can give you a more detailed view of the problem.

Before every push to production, I export the orders from the live site and import them into staging, so I won’t lose the new orders in production. I do this using the “Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce” from WebToffee and everything worked great until yesterday.

Before I am doing the import, I delete the old orders so I will have an empty orders database in WooCommerce. The problem is this: after the import it seems that some fields still remain somewhere in the database, because the “line_item” fields get duplicated (which gives me duplicate products in all orders), the “shipping_method” column has the same item 5 or 6 times (instead of “Shipping” it is “Shipping, Shipping, Shipping, Shipping, Shipping, Shipping”) so the shipping appears 6 times in my Woocommerce orders. The “shipping_items” column also has duplicate items and the “coupon_items” column is the same.

I have disabled the import export plugin and tried to do an import export with the legacy wordpress from Tools, but with the same result. I even rolleback WooCommerce to 6.9.0. as I wanted to see if 7.0.0. poses some incompatibility issues, but nothing changed. I will mention that no WP/WooCommerce/plugin updates were made in the meantime, this popped out of nowhere. Also I haven’t found any fatal errors or errors in the logs, everything works fine excepting the duplicate fields.

I have uploaded a screenshot at the link below to get a better image of what is happening.

    https://paste.pics/25d7d2858faac64cfa26271874cb7b28

Any guidance would be appreciated as I am super frustrated on this and I can’t figure out what is causing it.

    Thank you for your help,
    Stefan.

Update: I have made an export of all orders and I have noticed that there are 24 “line_items” columns that containt the duplicated products 5 or 6 times. The question is: how were these extra columns added and where do they come from?

The “coupon_items” columns also has duplicates. Some of them appear 5 or 6 times. What can cause this behaviour?

    Example: code:7y0q4u|amount:20.00;code:7y0q4u|amount:20.00
