hello there, check your database tool whether it be wamp server, mamp or xamp
choose either mysql or maridb because they are open source
under php myadmin
create a database and give it a name,
do not create any table.
under previladges, create a new user with username,password chesck all option comfirm password, localhost for host if possible and select go at the end of the page in the right bottom corner
run your wordpress directory from localhost for url or type 127.0.0.1
and select you wordpress directory.
fill in necessary information as partaining to the information entered above

if possible specify if you are online or offline.
whether on c panel or entirely on wordpress

if in case your are installing on a localhost/offline, delete that unzipped folder of wordpress , download anew one unzip it and extract it to the WWW folder on wamp server or htdocs on xamp.

if in case you are on line/hosted site, in the c panel initiate anew site from the ad dons create your new WordPress blog and redirect your url to the new site created.
when on the c panel, there may be no need of deleting your files, rather redirecting is best

push your mouse to the top corner of your website when logged in. open/edit your profile
change Gravatar to suit your feeling

For sure we are very sorry in deed. i wish you had some thing about WordPress
that alone would strike a note. i hope you revise yourself and poke us when
you think of wordpress

if in case you want to add a theme on your local host project, first download your theme to a directory then, using your theme browser on localhost,select the theme from directory where you saved it and upload your theme and after wards activate your theme and don’t forget to customize it.

Well!! i normally face such a challenge while choosing an online theme yet my WordPress project is on a local host. so i guess you can tell what is wrong

if incase you are doing it for the first time, i propose repeating every thing from scratch

if in case you where operating offline, the best thing to do would be you retaining the database and reinstall a newer version of WordPress
am pretty sure it will work out cool
