I have multiple galleries totaling about 8000 images. Individual galleries have from 200 to 1000 images, they work fine.

In reply to: [Media Sync] Latest update is much slowerWith the number of files and folders I have, the free version became un-usable. But I’m happy with the pro version.
Some things I meant to add. There is also no rating system, or comments for photos. Not sure why it can’t use WP’s internal comment system.

In reply to: [Media Sync] Latest update is much slowerYou can disregard this. I found another thread where the old version was available. But, I went ahead and purchased the pro version, since I use this a lot. And the Pro version is much more efficient and easy to use.
Thanks again!

In reply to: Displaying New Media Library Images to UsersI already have. That’s why I posted here. I’m perfectly willing to install another gallery if it can let me create a gallery with only new images.
Thanks for the reply.
I have Capabilities installed, but did not have Permissions. So I installed that, and went through the information at the link you sent. Still have the same issue. The user is kicked back to their profile page when attempting to edit a media file.
I can’t really do that on a production site.
Could you tell me, then, how I would setup such a role?
Thanks.
I would like to re-iterate the need for this feature.
I have many galleries, under several albums. There is no way or users to know if anything new has been added, at all.
If I sort my galleries based on image creation date, they will still have to visit each gallery to see if there is anything new. It would also limit their ability to view galleries in a coherent manner (especially without the users having the ability to sort the gallery themselves.)
There just needs to be an overall solution for this, which will include all galleries.
@elviiso – Yes the issue is resolved. Many thanks.
I didn’t see a point in opening yet another ticket when the problem was already documented. It wasn’t an urgent, site-breaking issue.
Thanks.
This thread should make them aware of the problem. Hopefully.
Well, that didn’t work. I downloaded Foo Gallery from the main site, and it was 2.4.14, but it would not allow me to activate my premium membership, which meant that none of my galleries worked. So I used the link in the Account section of my site under Foo Gallery, and downloaded the latest pro version, which is 2.4.13. So this needs to be rolled out to pro still.
My German is pretty rusty, but I’m also seeing this issue. I don’t see 2.4.14 as an available update. Is it coming soon?
So I found a setting in the lightbox section, which forces it to act as it does on a desktop system. I don’t remember seeing that before. But it does what I need it to. If that’s a new setting, thanks!
Is this being based on screen resolution? Because it happens on my Surface Pro, while being a tablet, it runs full Windows 10, and is essentially a high-resolution laptop.
Is there any way I can override this display to force it to the right no matter the display size, and perhaps have a vertical scrollbar. I would rather have that than the entire image obscured by the info pane.
