Sorry to hear you are having issues with version 4.0.0.

Unfortunately, without further details it is very hard to provide support. We are happy to look into this for you, but we will need more information to be able to do so.

If you could tell us what version of WordPress you are using, what version of PHP you are running, some examples of links that do not work, and the settings you are using (i.e. are you using a custom separator? are you using base64 encoding? numerical encoding? etc)

This happens when the referring url is not on the same domain as your website.

You can disable this feature by doing the following:

Pre 4.0.0

• Goto Settings > NoExternalLinks
• Now uncheck Check for document referer and restrict redirect if it is not your own web site. Useful against spoofing attacks. User will be redirected to main page of your web site.

Post 4.0.0

• Goto External Links > Settings
• Click on the Advanced tab
• Now uncheck Check Referrer

Yes, the author details have changed, we have taken over development from the previous author.

Custom Parser is being worked on as we speak; we are aiming to have this sorted very soon, it is our highest priority.

Domain specific masking is definitely something we can look into for you, I will pass this onto the development team.

As soon as we have a solution for the Custom Parser issue we will let you know.

So in the mean time, you may want to ignore version 4.0.1.
