Wow, you read all of this stuff about the great support offered when you buy the events manager. I posted 6 days ago and not one reply. Do i only get decent support if I buy the pro version?

I had planned on getting my head around the free version before purchasing the pro version later (which i need to do) but now that i get no support here it makes me think twice about purchasing the pro version.

ok that didn’t really help me at all with my original question, thanks for your input but i’m not sure you and I were on the same wavelength.

I agree that it looks like i used dd/mm/yy instead of d/m/y but i can’t find where to change that. I found one place but it didn’t make any difference so i changed it back.

I just want the date to appear:
Day of month/Month/Year

ok thanks for your feedback but i worked out that I had NOT filled out the fields in the box in the top right hand corner title WHEN.

I didn’t see it because all of the other information was lower in the page.

Now that it’s working and I have created categories etc, when I add an event and it displays within my site I get the date showing as this…

I tried playing with the date formats but nothing seems to change it…. there are so many places where things can go wrong, can anybody help me locate where to fix this format issue please?

Ok deactivated every plugin and tried again but no luck. I don’t understand how doing a ‘live preview’ of the default theme will do anything at all. I need to be able to go into the vent manager to try and add a new event which i can’t do in a live preview.

I tried changing back to the default theme anyway but it didn’t fix the problem.

So it wasn’t a plugin and it wasn’t the theme…. is it the fact that I have some date setting somewhere that i need to change?

PS Don’t ever buy from ozythemes.

If i change to the default theme will i lose any settings or anything like that from my premium theme when i go back to it?

Wow, an overwhelming response, was my question that dumb or are other people just as confused as I am?

it’s a premium theme…. i know i know, go ask the vender / theme developer….. yes but he never responds to technical queries so i don’t bother wasting my time asking him. I was hoping there would be a generic fix with either WP or page builder.

Ok deactivated this plugin and then activated it again and now it appears to be working except for one thing. Now when I add it to the custom menu and looking at it within the site the body container is only showing the tutorial page that is provided by the theme developer… it is NOT in the edit screen anywhere so I have no idea how this is showing up.

sorry i just figured out that i hadn’t published all of the new pages… doh. sorry for making a useless post.

here’es another question for you, what if i had several lines with different titles and different names.

How do i get the names in the right indented column to match up neatly? Do I just have gradually add and subtracted px from the numbers to get them to align or is there a code that does the same thing doesn’t take into account the characters in the title column which vary greatly?
