I have run into an issue reaching the support team directly.
I cannot log into Imagely as I do not have an Imagely account I have a Photocrati account. I do have access to Imagely Freshdesk and can sign in there but I can only see old tickets there is no way for me to open a new ticket.
In my Photocrati account, it is telling me that 5.0.7 is a legacy update and recommending me to update to Photocrati 10. Which do you wish me to do?
Hi, I can run all the updates this afternoon and check what if any problems there still are and let support know. I will have another time-critical gallery tomorrow – I am a sports photographer and have to get game photos up fast, there is a game tonight I will be publishing tomorrow – so if there are still issues I will have to role back to current settings until at least late Thursday.
@mihaiimagely The e-commerce issue was/is part of the wider failure of lightbox functionality (I do not use fancybox have never used fancybox I used the pro lightbox – switching to the simple lightbox had no effect) which is reported in other threads and I have found a fix for the issue in rolling back to nextgen 3.3.6 as advised in a different thread.
As the fix update – above 3.3.11 I presume – is released I will update at a time quiet for my site and check the functionality of galleries so if necessary I can return to 3.3.6 to maintain the working while further reporting on the issue.
Yep same problem – this is really bad. I use the gallery to sell images and not only is my new gallery (time critical) not displaying lightbox properly but neither are any old galleries. There is no prices listed, no way to purchase, and you cannot scroll to the next image.
Thank you Joy – I sometimes suspect my way of thinking is not really designed for the technical age lol.
I will try the customizer without publishing and can hopefully work out how to get stuff looking sort of like I think it should.
Have just run several mirror tests across both machines – end result is there was an issue with the original test images I was using – something about a runtime HTML 5 came up in yellow warning triangles but disappeared really fast.
I will now go and try and find out what that means and how it got on or in those images.

I am always reassured when experts say something is interesting – it generally means I have not missed something simple lol.
I will prepare a new test batch and place on both machines and retest and let you know the results.
Hi, I have double checked the requirements and all are met or exceeded.
Further investigations have shown that if I go to “manage galleries” “add new gallery” and then to add gallery/images I can create a single gallery with multiple photos.
I have also discovered that if I use my laptop (also windows 10) everything works as it should – I have requested advice on this on the miscellaneous board. However it does suggest the problem is going to be on my desktop machine – which makes no sense whatsoever but hey.
I have discovered further issues with the wp photo seller which means I am going to have to take the plunge and go for nextgen pro – Having it working through my laptop has reassured me the issue is not the program clashing with my host. I am happy if you wish to close this and thank you for your help

In reply to: Plug-in back end working on laptop not on desktopI did not put the web addresses because they are multIple. One is in the first post. Of those the second 2 are sandbox installs. The first one my main site is buggy as hell right now as well.
The errors are on the back end which people cannot visit – wp-admin/admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery (or if I try adding gallery straight to a page wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=page) – a pop up comes up saying
An unexpected error occurred. This is most likely due to a server misconfiguration. Check your PHP error log or ask your hosting provider for assistance.
or if I try importing from media library the bar saying importing comes up and just hangs – nothing happens.
I have contacted my host – there is no php error (I have checked logs myself). Plus if there was a server misconfiguration my laptop would get the same error – it does not everything works fine as expected.
I have tried clearing the desktop DNS cache as described above it has made no difference.
I have just noticed on the site details above the memory limit is being stated as -1. I thought that might be the cause but have rechecked on the sandbox and the memory limit there is 640 and it shows the same behaviour.

In reply to: WordPress 5 no option for parent under page attributesI have not heard of any solution – I had hoped the last update would do something but no. I am stuck using the workaround of going to the pages menu, finding the page I have just created, and using quick edit.
It is my intention to overhaul my site, change my theme and some of my major plugins in a couple of months – if the problem still persists afterwards I will try chasing again.

However, I have not had the time (nor do I have the ability right now) to check out the suggested javascript issues and I am stuck using the workaround while others are just using the plugin to go back to the old interface.
I do think it is an issue and it does need to be properly investigated and sorted properly as the current solutions are less than ideal but I do not have the time and resources to take it on.

I will have a look at healthcheck in a couple of days – I have just put a gallery up and will have high traffic volume for the next couple of days and I absolutely do not want to even accidentally cause a problem now.
Also I know from the other thread that the other person with same issue tried switching off all plugins and it did not work.
