Possible to reduce requests/ or the size of payloads further if EB-related blocks are not changed?

Same issue with our WP.

Currently using the latest Free Version: 4.4.7, it hangs the whole server when page UPDATE is hit, it creates several POST requests and overwhelms the server with 503 errors.. The issue was noticed last month ( old version, current version same issue )
