i am not understand yet about your question. can you provide some examples. anyway, afaik the un-alphabetical order of wp page id page is default setting of wp.

or you can try this Widgetizing Sidebar tutorial. anyway, sometime that problem occur caused by our browser cache, so try to clearing your browser cache.

why didn’t you try to backup your wp blog to *sql file, its more easier than *.xml file (cmiiw) ??

depending on what you want, in my case, i add it on the bottom of <?php the_content; ?>

to change the memory limit by including a line such as this at the very top of wp-config.php :

ini_set("memory_limit","12M");

you can also make this change permanently for all PHP scripts running on the server by adding a line like this to the server’s php.ini file:

memory_limit = 12M

btw, the 12M sets the limit to 12 megabytes (12582912 bytes). if this doesn’t work, keep increasing the memory limit until your script fits or your server squeals for mercy :).
