Nobody helped, but luckily everything is fine after the 2.0.17 update.

Jan, it IS NextGEN Gallery question simply because I can not upload and I get that error when uploading WITH NextGEN Gallery. Everything is fine with the regular image upload.

And don’t worry about the address changing. This is my 1000-th WP website.

So, thank you on your concern, but I know what I’m asking.
And I think people from NextGEN Gallery Support will also understand my question.

Also, I tried now on another WP installation, on different website – same thing.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough – I’m just changing the address of the WP installation, not the whole address.

Example:
Wordpress Address (URL) – example.com/wordpress
Site Address (URL) – example.com

So when it is like this – HTTP Error
When I change back Site Address (URL) to example.com/wordpress – OK

Also this happens on a new, fresh site. No uploaded images/galleries before.
