So I went on the server and made the command: sudo a2enmod rewrite and I get “Module rewrite already enabled”

I’ve also tried a few different plugins, but with no success.

I’ve been able to get the .htaccess file to forward the ip to sportsBlog/wordpress,so I believe the mod_rewrite is working.

I’m very sorry for the title. It was suppose to be titled “Permalinks issues with WordPress”
