    Thank you for your response. I don’t know how to publish anything there. I don’t see a space to type in like I do on the other pages.

    I have gotten the shipping somewhat under control now. It’s now exactly what I wanted, but I’m okay with it. Thank you.

    I have it narrowed down in scope as to where the problem is but I still haven’t figured out how to fix it. When I select a product to edit then choose “Product Data” and “Shipping,” if I leave “shipping class” blank, there is no shipping. That’s what it says will happen, and it does. But when I select a shipping class (either default or USPS), it slaps $6 for shipping regardless of the product. Apparently, I don’t know how to set up my shipping classes correctly. I don’t have “$6” anywhere in the setup, but that’s what keeps showing up.

    Thank you, we finally have it fixed!

    Thank you. I tried to follow the directions from the link and I’m still not having any luck. After I entered what I wanted to set up, I tried “update,” “apply,” and checking “enable” but nothing seems to get the shipping to add. The sub total and final total are the same.

    I am still getting an error. I tried another browser. It says http 500 error and mentions site possibly being down or a programming error. The further response I have from my web host:

    We had increased the memory limit to 128MB while trying to resolve the issue. Please see the attached snapshot. Also we had added the mentioned line in the .htaccess file.

    ===
    [vmcp09.myhostcenter.com:/home/bennettp/public_html]
    (root)>cat .htaccess
    #SetEnv MAGICK_THREAD_LIMIT 1

    I copied your response and sent it to my web host. They told me earlier that they had made sure I had the memory allocated. I deleted some things before they told me that and it didn’t help. I’m still not able to upload a file. Here is their response now:

    Hello Susan,

    Please be informed that the mentioned string (SetEnv MAGICK_THREAD_LIMIT 1) has already been adder to your .htaccess file. Kindly retest on your end and let us know if the issue persist. Thank you for your patience.
