I believe and do so, too.
Actually, this was my theme’s support group question – bad choice.Anyway, thank you again for your support.
Well, actually I didn’t in the end because it is taken over the theme and thetheme had similar compability issues so I roll back and did nothing.
I just left the customers to do 2 different sign ups (site & newsletter) and I will wait for your future updates.
Thank you very much for this information.Thank you very much for the support, but the current theme doesn’t show any of those options (checkboxes) you show me.
I’ll try to resolve it with the theme editors.
Can you provide any script for that checkbox, that can be used in a custom form, by any chance?Thank you, again.

OK. Yes, completely.
Seen what happened there! -My bad. There is been a misunferstanding, and possible a themes problem.
for starters, what you show me cannot be a customer’s site login. We preferred the GUI of the site and not the WordPress user’s login.
This is what I meant: https://ibb.co/4JfKpQ3
and it is probably the theme’s custom registration GUI that doesn’t support the option to mailing list register option.Anyway, this option is not there, so I had to go with the best alternative plan.
So I restate the problem:
We cannot have optional chckbox for newsleeter registration on our Register GUI.If we have your “Subscribe to registration form” enabled then the user on-site signup gets 2 verification emails from us,
– one plain text unbranded (from WordPress/ theme) for verifying the registration to the site, as expected after the registration.
– one HTML branded (with MailPoet) to verify registration to the newsletter, that user never opt-in and that was not a good thing.…so we DON’T use the “Subscribe to registration form” option and leave the user to register himself/herself manually with the relevant pop-up and MailPoet’s form.
This whole request was based on the confusion of all aforementioned verification emails and the lack of a newsletter registration checkbox during the site customer registration.
Propably a theme’s thing, or a combination of bad embodiment of mailPoets plugin.
So, our wishes were that MailPoet would be able to locate and change the site’s registration verification email, which is created by the theme, and
the theme would have incorporated this checkbox about newsletter registration, under the site registration, on the shown pop-up.Don’t know what is going wrong, but we have incorporated the two different registration systems (system & newsletter) now.
For further questions I probably should ask theme’s forum.
BUT, I belive there must be a way to add an additional checkbox on the registration form of the site (shown image popup), so
if you have any recommendation, or ready made code snipset to add (or ask theme editor about how to embody it) for adding this newsletter registration checkbox on registration form, that would be perfect.Thank you for your time.
Not exaclty.
I want it to be optional for the clients and this thing forces new clients to receive emails that didn’t choose. This could be done easier if they had a checkbox option right above the registration confirmation button on the register/ login modal form.
Creating an account doesn’t mean that they want to receive a newsletter.
The ethical thing is to offer an opt-in, not force them to opt-out.Moreover, since we want to offer a discount coupon to all new newsletter subscribers, this option, in combination with WordPress customer registration – verification emails, creates a bad UX since new client receives about 4 different emails, in two different templates (actually one template and plain text) for a single action, which two of them are something he/she didn’t choose, but have to have more actions and emails to opt-out.
Actually, it didn’t help a thing.
Doing manually what I want to be done automatically is not the solution on how this can be done automatically, since you propose quite the opposite.
Moreover, the UX tips are not UX tips but CX tips, and they are not solving the UX problems of the system, they justify it on a second communicative step, which should be unnecessary if the UX is good.Since these things cannot be done by the WordPress-WoCommerse-MailPoet system, and I do not wish to include another email plugin, the only thing I can think of is modifying the WordPress core emails that are exchanged with our clients to be at the same HTML template as the ones created in MailPoet.
Please, consider resolving this problem in future updates, as well as just adding a system for an optional newsletter or any custom email list with an enrollment checkbox that prepends the WordPress login/ registration form.
Thank you for your time.
The solution warks perfectly!
Thank UOK.
To get things straight.
The “Sign Up confirmation” refers to the newsletter list,
not the sign-up as a user (customer) of WordPress, which is cross-checked with this email: https://prnt.sc/XYo-5iU9RROe that is sent by WordPress and the theme and MailPoet, unfortunately, cannot format it.It just mixes the two lists together and not offers a “checkbox” option on user regisration to consent on becoming both customer and (optionally) newsletter subscriber.
A matter of confusion due to lack of functionalities and bad UX design both for the offered services and the language (copywriting) used in the dashboard.

In reply to: [GIFT4U - Gift Cards All in One for Woo] Card Templates functionalityOK.
Didn’t find any solution and to be honest, I don’t want to mesh things up.
Everything looks fine, expept the templates thing.
If it isn’t any known problem with common solutions, I would prefer to keep the default email and complete disable the coupon attachements, so I disabled th “add card PDF to email” option (set to FALSE), and the templates are not showing up.
If there is an update in the future I would love to have a hint to enabled them.
Thank You
OK. I followed these instructions: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/258-re-installing-updating-the-plugin-via-ftp (after this, the plugin needs enabling from the plugins menu),
luckily (or by design -pending answer from MailPoet support also on this) all the data, templates, subscribers and the rest of the tables were not deleted and were as I left them.Yet still, I would love an answer on what might caused this and if there is a better fix than the one applied.
If not, just an answer to how safe this ftp thing is for losing data, tables, templates, etc. Thanks

In reply to: [GIFT4U - Gift Cards All in One for Woo] Card Templates functionalityMaybe I didn’t described my proble, corectly. Everything you have proposed, I have done it.
On my site I have this https://prnt.sc/grXIE56QmcGB.I obligate ny client to select a Card template -BUT- when the gift will be sent.
This is the email recevied by the recepient with the gift card: https://prnt.sc/B_goIASCx3Ba with no attachement on it.
So, if my delivery option is email, why do I have to select a template for all my different Gift-Card products, since all gift recipients of all my Gift Cards, will receive the exact same email, with the only differentiation to be the shortcodes input (name, gift card amount, etc.).
Here are my settings https://prnt.sc/hExUsvIj8O9D
and here is my email template: https://prnt.sc/UIcuPbeRFxb3- Do I miss something?
- If the delivery method is email and the normal behaviour is as described, then why do you show the card templates to the client? -Shouldn’t it be hidden?
- The “Add card PDF to email” if it is not for attaching the selected card template on the email as pdf, then what is its job?
If you hane further questions or clarifications, please ask me. Moreover, I can send you a gift-card to your email (please provide) to see what our customer’s receive.
Thank you.

Thanks for the quick response.
Thank you very much for the support.
This saves me time, but still,
the main question is if EmbedPress has some sort of API so I can control it with code,
or else, I cannot think of any way of loading/ unloading, checking status, force playing and pausing and feed with URLs throughout the site.
