wow, i dont know how i did that, i must have thought tag cloud was the right one. Thanks for the help, I dont think i would have noticed that.

I got it to work in the Post section, but i cant get it to work on the side bar, it just says “Tag Planet” which is the name, but it only list the tags.

Thanks for the response, I do have a WP-Cumulus in the widget and thats how I got just the tags to come up on the side. I am using wp 2.7.1

wow i finally figured it out. I hadnt updated my /var/www folder with the new themes i only saved them in the home folder. Thanks for the help.

I’m so confused about this. The harddrive that the wp-content folder is on is the server that is running my wordpress.

No, its in wp-content/themes/new theme. What I meant about the upload part is it keeps saying you need to “upload” using cPanel or ftp, cant i just extract the zip file to wp-content/theme without using those programs to “upload”?

They are unzipped to their own folders. The one thing i dont understand is when it keeps saying upload, cant you just download the file and move it to the themes folder?

I have followed the directions form the themes page and also changed the permissions but still no luck

Sorry i jumped the gun. The site loads fine it must have been that the url was set to localhost. Thanks for the help.

Ok so i got the admin page back loading. Thanks for the help with the mysql file. Now i still need to fix my original problem. It looks like the themes wont load from a different computer why you try to access the page?

well i went to change the localhost url to the ip of my computer, but when i did it i made it x.x.x.x/spydan instead of x.x.x.x/spydaink so its looking for spydan everytime i try to login
