In reply to: [plugin:woocommerce] Poor image qualityHello,
I have Woocommerce on Mystile, and I have a similar problem to the above. The image quality in the catalogue of some of the images is very poor, see https://www.bigt-fitness.com/shop/
… yet the images display well on the product pages – e.g. https://www.bigt-fitness.com/product/muscle-gain-programme/
I’ve checked ‘hard crop’ in Woocommece settings, and I’ve used the regenerate thumbnails plugin to regenerate all my images. I’ve also tried uploading different sized versions of the original images. But no joy.
I feel this must be something to do with the Woocommerce css because the same images display fine on other pages of my site. However I can’t work out what the problem is!
All help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Can I add a feed to more than one categoryAgghh, I’ve just worked out the answer to my own question, sorry! I now see that I can add multiple categories to one widget, by using ‘ctrl’ when selecting categories in the dropdown box. This is a good workaround for the problem I have of displaying ‘subsets’ of feeds within the page, and a larger set of categories within the widget.
However it would still be useful to learn whether it’s possible to add a single feed to multiple categories. I’ve just tried using the same trick (using ‘ctrl’ within the drop down box) on the ‘feeds’ page, and it doesn’t work.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] Cookie bar not showingOh I see! Thanks. So just to clarify, the plugin won’t work at all for any themes without wp-footer?

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] Cookie bar not showingBut if I’ve chosen cookie position as ‘top’, shouldn’t it then work? Or am I missing something?
Genius! that’s a brilliant solution, thank you!

HI, thanks for this bheadrick. I’ve moved forward since posting this. Leaving the price blank was not an option for my client unfortunately. Also, I did discover the product enquiry form from Woothemes, this ‘sort of’ did what I wanted but was a bit tricky to customise (for me anyway).
In the end I found a compromise: I installed a full online shop plugin – Woocommerce – and used their ‘cheque’ payment Gateway, which I renamed to ‘payment after order processing’. I kept the ‘add to cart’ feature so that customers can show their interest in several products in one go (whereas if you use the product enquiry form from WooThemes the customer has to fill in a form for every product, as far as I can tell).
Hope this helps, Yuval180

In reply to: woo commerce: product page image too bigThanks bbernstone and lfp from me too!
I got part way along to a fix after seeing ljp’s post, but the image was still blurred (but smaller) when changing the percentage width in woocommerce.css. Changing the image width to ‘auto’ as per bbernstone’s suggestion has it perfectly crisp, presumably this just uses the original image size? Anyway it looks great.
Thanks all!

In reply to: woo commerce: product page image too bigCindy I’m not sure if I can help because you say you already tried the above fixes, also I’m just a beginner at css so I’m crashing around in the dark somewhat! But just to say I managed to sort mine out, using ljp’s solution, above. I edited the woocommerce.css file and changed the product pic size to 30% (it was showing as 48%).
Did you try this already?

In reply to: woo commerce: product page image too bigFollowing another tack, ljp where would I find woocommerce.css? I thought I’d try your edit as it makes sense that the problem is in the Woocommerce styles rather than the theme styles. But I can’t find this file …

In reply to: woo commerce: product page image too bigHi, thanks for this super-useful relevant thread!
I’m having exactly this problem with massive images. I too found that disabling the Woo css fixes it, but the layout/ buttons etc look ugly.
I’ve tried both of the css edits suggested by jfish and inspirata, but they don’t seem to have any effect, not sure why … I’ve done the edits in the style.css file (I don’t have a custom.css file – I’m using Zeecorporate).
I’m a bit new to css … can anyone help as I’m completely stuck! I can’t change themes as my client is wedded to the look of his theme and really doesn’t want to change it.
Thanks so much!

In reply to: Theme zeeCorporate banner ads don't display in SafariSince I disabled Supercache it now seems to be working for me too. Thanks very much for your help …

In reply to: Theme zeeCorporate banner ads don't display in SafariThey’re called banner ads in the Zeecorporate theme options but in fact they don’t appear in the banner – they’re in the right hand side bar. They are the ‘buy Indian books online’ ads. In Safari the 4 ads don’t appear.
I did read somewhere else about SuperCache causing a related problem – I’ll try disabling that and see if that works. Thanks!

In reply to: ZeeCorporate header not linked to homepageSorry, you’re right it is working properly now. What happened was the changes I made in WordPress hadn’t taken effect – I’ve just installed the supercache plugin, and reading the small print it says that your pages may take longer to refresh – in this case twenty minutes. Really sorry for wasting your time, thanks for your help!

In reply to: Cannot remove logo in ZeecorporateI feel very stupid, I did try this and it hadn’t worked, but I obviously hadn’t waited long enough for the save to take effect – just clicked ‘refresh’ again on the site and it now works. I do apologise for being a prize lemon! Thanks for your help.
