There’s actually no data there, as it says the property was just added to the account earlier today. But if I login as normal I see plenty of history. I have no idea what went wrong here…

I was not able to initially, I had to clink on a link on that page to verify my ownership, and now that is working. Unfortunately, I still get the errors on my SiteKit dashboard in WP. Any further suggestions?

Hi James,

Whenever I try to view either the SiteKit Summary on my WP Admin Dashboard or the SiteKit Dashboard page, I get SiteKit errors stating :

“Error: Looks like your site is not allowed access to Google account data and can’t display stats in the dashboard. To fix this, redo the plugin setup.”

I get the “getting FILE verification token failed” error when I click on the “redo the plugin setup” link that is displayed in the dashboard error message above.

I’m really at a loss how to sort this out, so any advice is appreciated…

James I already sent you the site health data privately as you requested – I did this immediately after I created this new topic. If you cannot obtain it please provide alternate instructions and I will provide it to you again.

Please elaborate on what you mean by “successfully reconnect to Search Console”. I am able to login to analytics.google.com and see the web site data – is this what you’re referring to?

I have been having this same problem since I updated the SiteKit plugin last week. I can find no way around this, so any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks Namrata, I did solve the problem with the widget, but I now find I need to make a similar change in a different place. To review, my need is to suppress the display of the featured image for a certain category of posts (called Cigar Analyses). I succeeded with this in the case of the widget, by copying the file content-widget-blog.php from the /flash-toolkit/templates directory to my customtheme/flash-toolkit directory, then altering the code to detect the category and suppress the image display.

Now I need to do the same thing for the Related Posts display that appears at the bottom of the post, before the comment block. My question is can I override the standard related-posts.php with a customized version in my child theme? If so where should I place the customized version of this file?

I have the same problem under IE and MS Edge, even though I am not using any caching plugin. Plug-in Author please help us!!

I actually did not tart seeing this UNTIL I updated to 4.7.1 – is there any update as to root cause and possible fix? The logging of this filled my storage, took my prod site down, I unwittingly ordered more storage which then filled and took my site down again
??

I finally figured out I had debug logging turned on in prod, so that’s fixed and site is back, but I cannot help but wonder what else may not be functioning correctly due to this error…

I’m having a somewhat similar issue – GravityForms emails are being sent via default email service (Outlook.com on BlueHost) rather than being sent via Mandrill. The consequence is that addresses which are blacklisted in our Mandrill account are still receiving emails via the default mail service.

Does anyone know how to prevent this default service from ever being used, so that emails are either successfully sent via Mandrill or not sent at all?

I’d love to know the answer to this as well – anyone have an idea how to move the edit link to the top of the view page rather than the bottom? I have some verrrry long forms I have to scroll thru to get to that link :-/

Please let us know if you do! It looks like this is not being actively maintained given how long it’s been since last update and the number of posts on this thread going unanswered.

I myself really need a few things fixed to make this usable (e.g. labels and titles on Polar charts)…
