In reply to: Incompatible archive: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10)I am having the same problem, both with upgrading wordpress and plugins. I have enough space on my server to do the upgrading, but I do not have a ‘php.ini’ file. Would someone please clarify this?
Thanks

In reply to: Image upload error: “File is empty. Please…”I’m having the same trouble as “thatfan”. I had originally thought that it was because there was not any room on my server, but I have a 104mb free, and I’m only uploading a 256kb photos. Any body else having this problem?

In reply to: twitter tools 1.5.1a won’t authenticate at twitterI logged into my account with a different browser that I don’t usually use, so doesn’t have the passwords and things saved. I changed the password, and then logged out of my account with that browser. Logged back in with my usual browser, and all was fixed, as it automatically updated the password that I’d just changed.

In reply to: Ideas Forum/Communication ChannelsI agree with 3stripe – something where we can regularly vote on the most wanted features would be perfect – tie this into the dashboard (which I always skim through every morning to see if there’s anything relevant to me there) and you have a winner.
The only WP change that I would like to see, and I know I’m not the only one, is better handling of media content and uploading – videos, pictures, audio… I have used WP for around 7 years now, and this is always been my big frustration. I like to put media where *I* want to put them – e.g. my current format is content/media/2009/05/10/image.jpg corresponding to the post I used the image in. This makes life incredibly simple when I want to move media to different folders or the ‘where did I put that image?’ question. I know people organise things differently, but that’s not hard to do… if ImageManager (https://www.soderlind.no/archives/2006/01/03/imagemanager-20/) can do it… why can’t WordPress?
PS, WP, and all those that create it… I love you

In reply to: [ Plugin: Tabbed Widgets ] Setting Internal Options of Other WidgetsHey there Vish.
Your question was answered on the plugin homepage. If you have plugins with internal options, add them to the ‘invisible’ sidebar under the widgets page. Once you have configured them, they will show up under the tabbed widgets with all the informationForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Restore deleted Page/PostMy goodness you are rude Whooami!! The person asking the question is simply asking if they can import their found files, and not have to go through the trouble of editing his backup! What’s the big deal? It’s trying to save time, instead of waste time for goodness sakes!
Rebrain, I am trying to do the same thing…
I lost my posts fiddling with my WP instillation, and I had to restore from a backup. Did that fine, then found that I had some 10 or so posts missing – I’ve since found them, however they contain a lot of extras (moods, geopress and other such extra information) and I would really rather just copy/paste into phpmyadmin. The question I have, is where?

In reply to: Image ManagerWhat a waste of time! who wants to upload and download photos all the time, espically when there are plugins out there that do it on the fly! WordPress is powerful enough to do all of this, it’s just a matter of finding the right plugin

In reply to: ImageManager Button is hidden / Thumbnail customizationHeer heer, WP developers need to include the ImageManager plugin in their core system. I can’t even get my old photos to show in the Media Management system.

In reply to: ImageManager Gone As Well as WordPress Thumbnailsthe thing I love the most about ImageManager is that you can put the image EXACTLY where you want to, not some random place that the plugin decides. WP media management is still a joke, even with 2.5 rolling through. I want complete control of my system via WP, not having to install a bunch of different programs to do something simple that a plugin can do with a touch of a (couple of) buttons.

In reply to: 403 when PublishingI ended up going into my database and changing the options that needed to be changed so that the post published. I still have no idea why this happened, however have not come across the problem again.
