Found out that this work for me on my multisite.

Pay attention, this rewrite rules use a tracking pixel image (that does not exist) to execute a program. As such, this rewrite rule needs to be adpated based on where knews will try to find the image. In ma case this is in /sites/9/knewsimages/

Please edit the below rewrite rule accordingly

rewrite ^/wp-content/uploads/sites/9/knewsimages/([^/]+).(jpg|jpeg|gif|png)$ "/wp-content/plugins/knews/direct/track.php?img=$1" break;

The way WPML work, this might be normal.

I was in the process of copying over english content to french translation. When I use the “Duplicate” option, WPML create the .url but point it (like an internal 301) to the original version of the post.

Working on these now. This is a new site being built.

The en sitmemap include only en .url. Same for the fr sitemap as you can see.

Please note that even though my home page is:

https://www.rawtests.com/sitemap.xml does not return anything. Which is perfectly acceptable to me.

As for myself, I am perfectly at ease with the way this is working. Don’t change anything!

On WPML there are multiple settings. I chose By Directory with a front page. (subdomain and parameters also exists but they are a pain in google analytics)

I can use a feature image. I changed it on https://www.randonneequebec.com/sites/parc-des-prairies/

I still get the same result.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I can add CSS and Javascript to the View Content Template.

This is a Custom Post Type. It is generated through the https://www.wp-types.com plugin named Views.

I can define with views how the image is being displayed and any div/class element to it. However, Views only generates body text. No output on the head.

Any ideas on how to make them work together (ngfb and wp-types)?

I am behind cloudflare – I purged the cache after making the modifications.

I use Wordfence – I have excluded this .url from the cache:
https://www.randonneequebec.com/sites/parc-des-prairies/

This .url has the same problem and it is cached by Wordfence:
https://www.randonneequebec.com/sites/parc-de-lile-perry/

I don’t know what happened. In terms of loggin, I did not change the default of WordPress. I am back with regular caching (3x) for now.

Should you want me to investigate (I have access to the whole loggin environment) or send you additionnal data I would be glad to do so.
