When mine was hacked I uninstalled and reinstalled as I didn’t have all that much content. However when I looked into the theme I was using it had some strange content that had .ru extension web addresses so I uninstalled that theme really fast!
I’m having the same challenge. Just installed BPress on a basic wordpress self hosted install and when I fill out the forum info and press enter it returns with no topics found.
