I’m not seeing ‘Custom Fields’ in my settings and don’t have the option to activate them in the Screen Options settings on the page. Can anyone help?

I’m trying to link an image that opens a Vimeo video in the lightbox, I have the plugin installed but don’t know what to do next?

I’m currently experiencing the same problem and I too have multiple images and videos on a single page website. Have either of you managed to fix the problem yet?

Fair enough, I’m no expert by a long shot but it worked for me anyway.

Conclusion:
If you get the error replace the menu.php file with the 3.4 version, then you can get into your dashboard.

Run the update again in one browser tab, open the website in another, once the update is finished the website will load up but the update page doesn’t seem to change or say ‘finished’, open a new tab and access your /wp-admin dashboard/ it should ask you to update your database, click OK, and you’re in!

I wasn’t planning to keep the old file, I just needed to be able to access the dashboard to try the update again.

The update does take a while, I think the first time I tried to press the update button twice, maybe that’s what caused the problem?

I managed to access the dashboard by replacing the menu.php file from the 3.5 update with the 3.4 menu.php.

And now I’m trying the 3.5 update again, fingers crossed.

Would I do that by duplicating the Twenty Ten theme and then renaming it something else?

What should I be looking at?

I know a bit about theme’s etc. but I don’t know how to get what I want and load in the blog and a sidebar?
