In case it helps, I’ve seen the issue twice, on Linux platforms with a respected host both times. It may be a coincidence, but on the other hand the issue may not be primarily Windows, as you think.

I’ve got this issue too. I’m excluding the wordfence tables for now. Still get a 404 error after some time though. Relying on updraft for now.

Just came across this bug too.

The plugin seems to make two sql files – one for core and one for plugins.

Still gone, and no updates on the developer’s site in months. It isn’t looking good, I think.

It’s a shame, because there doesn’t seem to be anything else that does the same job.
