    Hi Joey,

Did you test on a mobile phone specifically though? I had a customer just have this issue today. Here is the link to one of my 2 sites having this problem:

Did so and still doesn’t allow the customer to select a shipping method when paying for a manually created order.

Yes I can still make manual plug-ins. I am having an issue with how shipping is charged. I swear this was a feature in the past, but I can only roll back to V3.0. I tried doing a fresh install on a new website with the 2016 theme and only using the flat rate shipping options. So no other plug-ins. Let me explain with an example of what used to happen.

    1. I create a manual order for a custom.
    2. I add the products and fill in all their shipping/billing info.
    3. I leave shipping absent and tell them to log into to pay.
    4. They click pay and it shows their order and let’s them select what shipping method
they would like (cheap and slow vs fast and expensive), it calculates the rate based on weight, the total updates and they pay.

Now it seems that the shipping method ratios do not appear and thus the customer doesn’t get charged for shipping. My only option is to ask the customer ahead of time what method they want, look up the rate, then add it to the order before telling them to pay.

I believe this happened during V3.0 update. I haven’t been able to do it in a while. Before I didn’t need to enable backorders or set stock at the product level. It just would know that since I am creating a manual order it will push it through. Here is an example.

Product A is sold on my shop.
Product A is sold out and thus the Woocommerce Waitlist plug-in is displayed.
I find (1) Product A in my warehouse and want to sell it to a specific customer.
I create a manual order with Product A in the order and tell the customer to pay.

They can not since Woocommerce is saying it’s out of stock and I can not add it to stock due to it emailing all the people on the waitlist getting notified or someone on my site will buy it before the customer pays. Before, V3.0 I believe, it would not tell the customer it is out of stock when they go to pay for the order I created for them.

It’s been an issue for a while and have found other work around of making 2 orders. 1 with the item that is marked on-hold until they pay for a seperate order that is just a fee. But this is kind of a headache and am wondering if there is a way to bring back how it was. Or is it not possible due to the revisions to how Woocommerce checks stock now?

Again sorry for the delay I don’t think this account has the updated email. Is it required to use the drop in UI for those errors to show correctly? Also do you still want me to open a ticket?

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay. The CVV error is just an example. It seems that if there is any issue with processing the customers’s card it will output that response of:

PayPal Powered by Braintree was unable to complete the transaction. Please try again later or use another means of payment. Reason: Gateway Rejected:____

I see in the code that their are other options that it should be outputting the response that is specific for the declined reason.

Just tested, drop-in UI does not change it. Still the same error code.

    Wordpress Version is 4.9.2
    Woocommerce Version is 3.2.5
    Plugin Version is 1.4.7.2

Well it seems to be working now, sorry for the confusion. Not sure if it works by default or just because I got a new customer verification plug in.

Quick somewhat related question though. If an existing customer uses the link they will still get the coupon. Is there a way to turn that off? I want this plugin to really just be for new customers being brought in through referals, no existing customers abusing the system.
