You can do that, but it can (and probably will) get overwritten in the next OptionTree update, which is why I chose to load it in my plugins admin_init action hook instead.

For right now, no. Folks were having issues having all their contests showing on a single page, so I paginated them. I picked 3 out of a metaphorical hat. In a future version I’ll add a field for number of contests per page.

I’m not sure. I’ve mucked with facebook apps before, but I don’t know fully what data I’d have access to. The wife also mentioned that running contents on facebook pages may be against the TOS.

Thanks, I’m glad you like it. I’ve put a new version out to add pagination and search by post title. I changed from query_posts to a custom query, which *should* fix the issue you mentioned, but I admit I didn’t test for the specific scenario.

Let me know if it’s still a problem and I can tweak the query.

How many contests are we talking about?

After talking offline with the OP, it seems Disqus was not syncing all comments in a timely fashion. Since the plugin can only deal with comments in the WP database, it was not finding those comments Disqus didn’t sync. My understanding is that she has since stopped using Disqus for other reasons and this plugin is now working as expected.

So, I think the core issue is to make sure that if you’re using a third party commenting system that it does sync all of your comments back to the WP database in a timely fashion.

If I am incorrect about the resolution, littletechgirl, please let me know.

ok, did some research on Kaspersky and apparently it can block some AJAX requests, but there is a way to add URLs as trusted within Kaspersky (somehow, I don’t have details, as it’s not a product I use). So, try adding your site as a trusted URL and see if that works).

In the meantime, I need to add some enhanced error checking to my AJAX requests.

I was unable to reproduce this on a Windows 7 Ultimate machine with IE 8.0.7600 or Firefox 3.6.13. Could you possibly get me some more info? Exact browser versions and steps to repeat could be helpful. Thanks.
